The best Yemeni restaurant in Queens..Yes their English is not good but we love their hospitality which broke the language barrier. They served us yummy Yemeni tea while we were deciding what to order. I like the Saltah (The traditional maraq-based Yemeni stew, featuring cooked vegetables, and topped with hilbeh, a fenugreek based whipped condiment; served with sahawiq and warm pita bread) & my brother loved the Fahsa (Shredded lamb served with cooked vegetables and hilbeh , a fenugreek-based whipped condiment, served with warm pita bread) basically the lamb was delicious, it melted like butter in your mouth.. We simply loved the Shakshukah (Scrambled eggs with tomatoes, parsley, onions, and peppers). My three years old nephew dont like eating food but he finished two bowls of their yummiest soup (A lamb-based broth cooked with onions, herbs, and spices). One of the employee was extremely nice & he gave a bowl of soup to take home for my nephew. I will definitely be back!
