Sa Bai Thong

The food is always delicious and service always good. I highly recommend #45.We ordered take out yesterday, prompting to update my already 5-star review. The precautions they are visibly taking makes me feel safe about ordering take out during this pandemic. Thank you.

Great restaurant. Food, service, atmosphere all very good. We love this place and will return, frequently.

We were faithful patrons of Sa-Bai Thong until tonight. We decided to order food for mother's day. They told us our order was ready for pick-up at 6:25. My husband waited outside in the parking lot in the cold for two hours (it's now 8:27 and he just arrived home). Because of Sa-Bai Thong, we were not able to spend mother's day evening together as a family. I understand that restaurants can become busy and get behind. But please have the decency to call. Be honest with people and tell them that their order will be two hours late so that they can spend time with their family on mother's day. We won't be returning.

Always so good! We try new things every visit! We took a long break from coming here and recently came a few times and it is still so good! The lettuce with chicken and shrimp appetizer is awesome! All their flavors are amazing! A must go!

Still one of my favorite places to grab some Thai food. It's not super Americanized. I just wish their menus were a little consistent between their locations. Huge fan of their red curry duck.

Spotless room, warm staff, delicious cucumber salad, green papaya salad, yellow curry, tom ka soup -- everything, in fact. Mostly mild, unless you ask. Very generous pours of wine, and good quality too.

This is a great Thai place in Madison. This is the only location that I've visited, but I'm sure the other is good as well. They have excellent pad thai, which is kind of a standard. I had the Tropical Surprise. It's really good and really filling. The shrimp purse is excellent as well, and it's my favorite appetizer. The service is always excellent, and while it's almost always pretty crowded, I've never had to wait for a table. An excellent option for Thai food.

Very friendly service, nice atmosphere. I like my Asian food mild, and this was just right. My partner likes it hotter and was satisfied with her choice too.

Very elegant and welcoming place. They provide generous portions and for reasonable rates. I liked the food very much and the staff were very welcoming and explanatory. Recommended.

Best Thai restaurant around in Madison area. I've had food here for about 3 years now and they Never disappointed me. There is usually a little wait at the front desk if they are under staffed as everyone tries to do everything here.

OMG. We tried a number of appetizers and entrees and they were all amazing. We went heavy on the vegetarian dishes, so can't say anything about the non-veg. Can't wait to go back!

If you ask them to make your dish spicy be prepared to eat an obscene amount of dried red pepper flakes. They're not cooked into the food, so they end up staying dry and unpleasant. Unacceptable.

Probably the best Thai food in Madison. Given that, there's more the owners can do to improve the experience. They could for example offer combinations so the patron can try multiple things. As it is, it feels like they are taking the easy road out.

Food here is good and served quickly. The staffs are very friendly. I love the decoration here, looks authentic and artsy. I just do not like the food very much. Still recommend this place and will visit again.

I liked the main dish of yellow curry with veggie, but not so much the tofu appetizer. The tofu was dry. Service was good enough.
