Sa-Bai Thong Thai Cuisine

I've been to this place 5 times over the last couple years. Each time, the food quality has gotten worse. Our last visit, was the last time we will ever eat here. We only went here out of convenience, since the better restaurants on Willy & Atwood didn't open until 5 and we were having an early dinner. The portions vs price and quality were so bad, I can't believe there aren't more bad reviews on here to be honest. Bai Bai

This is a really good Thai restaurant in Madison. I tried their pad see ew with pork for $12 and chicken satay for $8, both of them were very worth it. The serving size of the pad see ew was quite big and they put a lot of pork as well. The taste was quite good. For the chicken satay, it came with 4 pieces and each of them was really big. The taste was good, but it would have been better if they marinated longer. I recommend this place for a good Thai dinner.

Great Thai food with lots of options, and most items give you a choice of meats or tofu, so it's great for vegetarians/vegans, too.

The crab ragoons are crispy and tasty. Great food and ambiance.

Love this place for a quick pad Thai or pad phe kring or other Thai dishes that I can't remember. The level of spiciness can be adjusted as per your taste buds. I like the adventurous spice level as you can enjoy the heat and the food at the same time. I have in the past tried their max heat level, which is way too much red peppers. I could go for more quantity for the price paid, so giving 4 stars. They have two locations and both of them have the same menu. The one on University has less parking space. The service is friendly and quick. I will certainly come back to savor other dishes on the menu.

Food is very good. Thai Basil could be spicier, especially since it had 2 as spicy level. My daughter’s shrimp pad Thai was spicier and more flavorful. Thai iced tea ordered with coconut milk is really good. Friendly service. Wish lunch menu would go until 4-4:30. Ending it at 3 is too early.

We were parking and planning on going into a restaurant nearby when we walked by SBT and smelled the great Thai food from outside. We decided to go in here instead. Food was good and affordable. I always struggle to make a decision on Thai food. I got the Pad Thai and my wife got a rice/mung noodle and veggie dish. We would definitely go back again.

The service is always very courteous and prompt. Lots of food options... gluten free choices too. Love the chicken skewers and Kah Ri curry. Yum!

This is one of my favorite places to eat!!!! You won't be disappointed with anything you choose, great quality food. The staff is friendly and polite and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I only wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Seriously check it out!

Excellent Thai cuisine. Easily visible on north side of University Avenue, set in a strip mall. Ample parking. Food is good, choices are plenty. Servings are generous. Order takers are polite. Great food, great service when you eat in, fast service for delivery and take out, hearty portions very good food. Nice ambiance, authentic dishes.
