Rumpus Room

A great quirky place. I have been before and loved the food. Today I had chicken and waffle benny. Sadly the waffle was rock hard and the chicken patty was burnt. The sauce and chicken skin was fabulous! We will go back and try again.

Decent food, cozy and fun ambiance.

My first time to be here. My fd recommended the burger is great here. We ordered a veggie burger and fried bucket for our light dinner. The atmosphere is great, not over noise. We chat comfortably, not over crowed. The food is great. The beer is good, it's from can. I don't think they have draft beer. They have board games toooo. This is a nice surprise!!!!!!

We really enjoyed hanging out on the 1970s couch and playing some games and having a few drinks. The featured drinks are sweet concoctions like adult orange cream soda floats but they have a full bar. The service was friendly and accomodating. The food menu looked great too but alas, we were not ready to eat. Guess we will need to return!

Happy Hour weekends are 9am. to noon- "Adult coffee" (a mug of coffee with a shot of Bailey's, Kahlua, or Jameson's) for $4, mimosa, $3, Caesars, $4. Veg or non-veg breakfast, $8.

We are both fans of the previous Rumpus Room and we just had to return when we heard about the new opening! That said, the fried chicken and waffles have decreased in portion size 😒 Still same great flavor and quality 😁 The atmosphere doesn't have that original feeling of someone's garage, which we enjoyed. The staff were great, and they kept the coffee coming which was a plus. Nice being able to play games while you wait. We posted monkeys in barrel to kill time. Anything I said negative in this review was redeemed after we tried the Gummy bear mini donuts. 🍩 Oh My! I couldn't speak any more highly of them! Very charming neighborhood comfort food joint. Lovely ambience inside. Food was not bad. But portion is on the smaller side for the price charged.

The main menu is like a kids menu. I wouldn't necessarily go here for good eats, but there are games, friendly staff. Reasonably priced beer.

This place is awesome! Best deep fried pickles and chicken and waffles I have ever had. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, decent all around. Recently have been coming more frequently and will continue to do so. 10/10 would recommend.

The Rumpus Room is back and that means my favourite chicken and waffles has returned. The chicken is very juicy and soft, fried and seasoned to perfection. The decor is a bit cluttered than the original location but it still has the same vibe. Service was excellent and just be aware that they're in the soft open mode so there are people training. Huge points for the duo-tang menu, super nostalgic.

We had a very memorable experience at The Rumpus Room. The decor is 1970s chic and the service was friendly/efficient. They had a large amount of vegetarian options and I opted for the beet burger, which was unique and delicious. My partner had the chicken and waffles and he said they were flavourful. Overall, I would recommend The Rumpus Room for local eats in an eccentric atmosphere!
