The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.

My first time here. Great fish tacos. Clean and friendly staff. Taco and a beer for 5$. Easy parking was a plus.

Place was amazing good atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food and family like attitude by the staff wish I can go back again soon the food was a bit pricey but well worth it.

Fantastic tacos, great salsa bar, fast service. I love to pre-order for fast pick up. Taco Tuesday is the best because of the special prices, but any day is great. The tacos are my main items, but the fresh guacamole is fantastic too. Gotta love the guac! Simple as that in my title. Hands down the best fish tacos anywhere. I have traveled all over the world and my favorite to order is fish tacos, Rubios wins. When in Palmdale I try to go twice a week. Do yourself a favor, order the coastal trio, its as good as it gets.
