Oh man, this place may end up detrimental to my waistline. Got a In Da Club fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries and immediately regretted it because the sandwich just by itself is pretty substantial. It's a big hunk of flavourful juicy fried chicken - I'm somewhat tempted to ask how many calories it is big I'm not sure I actually want to know.

Not sure I understand how this place has five stars. The service was good - hostess sat us quickly and waitress was attentive. However, the food is so bad. We got the fried half bird chicken with Brussels and smashed potatoes as sides. The “traditional” seasoning should be listed as no seasoning. It was the most bland chicken I’ve ever had. The Brussels has no flavor and the potatoes were just that - potatoes. I honestly think Whole Foods fried chicken is 10x better and a fraction of the cost. Maybe those who reviewed and said it was the best fried chicken haven’t had seasoned fried chicken. Not sure, but can’t imagine I would be back.

There is a lot of press about fried chicken sandwiches. This place is the king of fried chicken sandwiches. Lots of variety. Great tasting sandwiches. They fill up the basket with non greasy waffle fries. Just a great experience. We ordered the "odb" and "drop it like it is hot" sandwiches. So surprising to see that the ODB, while containing bacon, was served on a fresh biscuit. A great addition to the many restaurants in the Navy Yard area.

Had the Drop It Like It’s Hot chicken sandwich! It was delicious!!! So good...will definitely order that again! Thank you!

We ended up here celebrating our BFFs 37th birthday!! What a great choice!! The atmosphere is bomb, the drinks were bomb(from what I could tell, I don't drink but my friends do)and the food was absolutely divine!!! I had not one issue with anything!! Will definitely be taking the Susband on our next date and you all should join us!!!

Been following this place for awhile on Instagram and couldn't wait to try it. It Did Not Disappoint. Fresh ingredients bold flavor and fantastic service. Not for those on diets, nor haters of the hip-hop genre. Otherwise more than worth a try. Also found out they sell Nationals tix through their website and you'll get discounts before and after games. Definitely will be going back!

The food and the service at the Navy Yard Location was AMAZING! We ordered soo much food cause everything was soo good! Try the Oysters Rockafeller and the "In da club" sandwich. Finish it off with a desert taco and wash it down with one of their signature cocktails. You won't be disappointed!

Ambience is okay, chicken sliders awesome. The fried oyster have a nice flavored batter with an uncooked oyster inside. Myself and my fellow foodie friend thought they were horrible. The hush puppies were okay but lacked shrimp flavor. I think the drinks are underwhelming and have a very floral or sweet undertone. The space was small but cool. I believe that their chicken is awesome and the oysters with some longer cooking time could be delicious. I went with the intentions of trying out Happy Hour then trying the dinner menu but was so underwhelmed that I did not. I don't think I would return to this location but did discuss with my dc foodie group of 3 that we should try the original location out to see if the food is more up to par and consistent with the awesome instagram pic's.

Bomb. Food was quick, hot and fresh! The signature drinks are worth a try! As you can see from the picture, we had a lot from the menu! Service is excellent. This place has been added to our monthly rotation

Food was over seasoned and they were out of food for signature dishes because of not receiving a food delivery. They use fresh food so if their delivery truck doesn't arrive they will be out of certain dishes. The service is always very nice and accommodating. I was there for brunch, but others may have a more positive experience if they are there for the bar service.
