Best Culinary Dining Experience in Topeka, possibly best in Kansas. Fresh, local, ingenious menu.My only criticism: Update the decor. The mismatched, outdated furniture and somewhat cramped or awkward seating arrangements make you feel like you’re eating in a row house maybe too much? Dined alone one time in a closet sized room, it was still a blissful experience but the setting could improve. Invest in new furniture, PLEASE. If it were my grandma’s house it’d be fine, but it’s an upscale restaurant. The price doesn’t match the dilapidated decor hidden by table cloths.

Rowhouse has an incredible atmosphere and quite a surprise for downtown Topeka. The lunch menu was excellent with fresh produce and an amazing tomato soup. It's in an old row home with multiple levels of dining. Looking forward to hanging out on the patio when spring comes and enjoying listening to a local band.

Very good soup and sandwiches. Beautiful outdoor seating area. Brought the dogs around the back and enjoyed a very good tasting lunch.

Row house is perfect for getting together with friends. Great menu and beautiful patio. They have a variety of sandwiches and main entrees. I wouldn’t take children. We quit coming due slow changing menu, and lack of choices. Went last night and had fantastic food, good drinks and great service. Greg and staff have taken it up a notch and now is the best place to eat in Topeka.

Hands down the best fine dining in Topeka. Tried several of their specialty cocktails tonight and was once again not disappointed by the chef choice option on the menu. Giving the chance to try everything they are offering on the weekly menu is well worth the price. We will be visiting again!

I am blown away by this chef! Every bite of everything from the butter (yes, even the butter) and hummus to the braised beef short ribs and lake salad was outstanding. The flavors were delicate and at the same time robust. My husband had the citrus chicken with garden greens and I think he came close to licking the plate, but restrained himself. Greg Fox, the chef, is incredibly talented. I want him to print more of his cookbook. I need one, since we live in CO. Greg, I beg you!

The food was absolutely outstanding, and the staff was wonderful. I am thankful to have such a wonderful restaurant in Topeka. Really everything they served we extremely fresh and had wonderful flavor. We certainly will be back.

Traveled from Wichita for a business trip and our hosts recommended this as a lunch spot. Great atmosphere and even better food. Still thinking about the tomato soup a few days later!

We were a party of four and were seated upstairs. We had a good time on our previous visits but unfortunately this visit didn’t pan out right. We were seated right next to the stairs (made of wood) and the stairs make such loud noise everytime the staff used it, which was every 5-10 minutes. I would recommend to make reservations either downstairs or in the private room upstairs. Also, I think they do a good job with meat dishes but I don’t really care for their vegetarian dishes - I believe we had cauliflower and it was very oily and fried but lacked flavor. We enjoyed everything else on the menu.

My wife and I went here for a date night as a chance to get dressed up and do something different. We were immediately greeted at the door and taken to a table. The experience was very personal and the house is small enough to feel cozy and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing. From start to finish every piece was outstanding. Definitely worth the trip.
