First , the atmosphere is perfect. So cute , very French quarter like. The poboys are perfection. The gumbo is heavenly. The show stopper was the bread pudding . Oh my .. Life changing. Great service at the counter. We will definitely be back.

Great food; wonderful, quirky atmosphere that is everything that I love about NOLA, and and awesome place for a quick lunch with friends to catch up—just make sure you get there earlier rather than later for lunch because they fill up inside. If the weather is nice, there are more places to sit outside. Enjoy!

I liked the surf and turf po'boy (I think that's what it was called). It had one half roast beef and the other half fried shrimp. I liked the bread. It was authentic New Orleans style bread. We also had the gumbo which was okay. It had okra which some people don't like in their gumbo, but I do. I also tried the bread pudding. It didn't have a lot of flavor and it was kind of dry. Service was good. They made sure we had everything we needed. I'd recommend you give this place a try. It's good if you want a taste of New Orleans while you're in Birmingham.
