THE Happy Hour to rule them all. Every drink was perfect, and service was phenomenal. There wasn't a single thing we didn't love. We ordered one of each for the apps and the arepa was my favourite by far, my boyfriend loved the beets salad with steak on it.

Absolutely loved this place. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The menu was small but was eclectic and modern without being pretentious. The combination of different flavors in each dish was mouthwatering. I highly recommend.

Everything we had--starters, main plates and desserts were amazing. They were super respectful of my mushroom allergy (even though it's not life-threatening) and even put the mushrooms in my husband's starter on the side so we could share (which was wonderful because his starter was delicious). My friend has an incredibly cheesy sense of humor and indulged in it a lot but our server was a great sport and very sweet.

It is pricey but wonderful! I love what they are doing here. I'm not a huge fan of going to the highlands, parking sucks and many other things but this place is delicious. They also have a spot in the airport with we visit anytime we are there.

Terrific food, cocktails and ambiance. Trendy spot in a trendy neighborhood, every time I've been there the place has done a wonderful job. One of the more consistent restaurants in Denver!

You know I walked into this place a little disappointed because they only had five entrees, some small plates and it really just wasn't what I was feeling in the moment. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside and after sitting down talking to the waitress we ended up ordering the veggie burger, this corn potato wrapped in grilled Gouda cheese, The beet salad, the Dungeness crab tacos, the pumpkin's risotto, and a few other things. Overall the food was much better than I expected and ended up having a delicious dinner. Although I think the veggie burger needed a little more flavor, the corn potato Gouda made up for it because I think it was the best thing we ordered.

Love Root Down! If you’re looking for a trendy place for a romantic date night with incredible food- this is the place for you. They are very considerate of food allergies and sensitivities and all staff are very well-versed in all menu items. This place always has very interesting cocktails and menu selections. Would highly recommend this place!
