Wow! What a fantastic place! Great atmosphere and decor, but more than that - the good was outstanding! And the coffee was too! And my vegan wife loved to “egg” sandwich!

This place is pretty God damn good ! Love the selection of books as well available to read. The owner is super friendly and nice so is everyone else working there. I got a cappuccino with peppermint and the avocado toast! The toast was mind blowing delicious. The coffee was on point too!

First time here. Adorable , quaint, cozy place... Delicious decaf cappuccino.... Chicken salad wrap with walnuts, broccoli slaw. Excellent 👍... Looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Very nice. Good cafe with books, beverages, breakfast, sandwiches, and salads, as well as friendly owners and staff. Food is top notch. I highly recommend the Caesar salad.

Total gem in Tatnuck Square! This little cafe and book store is ideal for a relaxing few hours reading or for a quick stop in to grab a coffee. The owners are simply perfect - friendly, hardworking and generous. Food selections are outstanding for such an intimate venue - I'm impressed with the quality and quantity of choices. I highly recommend the Lavender Fog...so good! Definitely stop in when you're on the West Side of Worcester.

One of my favorite places in Worcester. Coffee and food are delicious, the people are awesome, but the book selection is what sets it apart. I've discovered many great titles (Non-fiction mostly) here just by grabbing something off the shelf.

Great little cafe! Cute place to sit and sip a coffee and read a book. They have a good selection of books. The staff was friendly and they had a nice menu with vegan options. Check it out if you're around this part of the city 😊

Wonderful little bookstore and cafe. For such a small space the collection of books is impressive. The food was great according to my son and the cappuccino divine! Service was also fantastic. I highly recommend this gem in tatnuck square!

Great spot for breakfast in Tatnuck Square! If you want to support local businesses, this is an excellent alternative to the generic coffee chains. Delicious food, perfect espresso drinks and really friendly staff. I love the selection of books and will return for that alone, but I can also see this place becoming my new morning coffee spot. It is so wonderful to have a bookstore/cafe back in Tatnuck Square!

Root and Press is the cozy bookstore/cafe that I've always dreamed about. I usually get the iced coffee with a non-dairy milk and it's always been smooth and tasty (and, y'know, caffeinated). They also offer a variety of snacks and light meals which have never disappointed me. (I particularly like the avocado toast.) If you want a casual, homey place to chill with a book or a quick bite to eat, I think you'll enjoy Root and Press.

Phenomenal! Rich works hard to do it right. THE best salads in a 25 mile radius. Great spot. Highly recommend. :)
