Great food, friendly staff and surprisingly good service under the circumstances. Still a great place to go.

Roosters is really great. It’s a mid-priced brewhouse and restaurant with a good atmosphere and great food. They have a wide selection of beers that are brewed or on tap, including fresh brewed root beer and Stubborn root beer on tap. The staff is very friendly, and do a great job from the waitstaff to the hosts. The food is very good. I have had the pasta, the salmon and fish and chips, all of which were very good. The salads are also good, as are appetizers like the wings and the cheese curds. Overall, a great place to go for dinner, conveniently near the Layton hotels.

Great food quality and really enjoyed the local spin on the options, while still including mindful options like a black bean burger and high quality salads.I ordered the Buffalo (exotic meat) burger, and a fantastic local dark beer and thoroughly enjoyed them both.I left off the 5th star because the side salad & fixings for the burger weren't as fresh as they could be and our server had to be asked to bring silverware and napkins.I'd definitely go back though and give it another shot if I'm ever in the area again.I recommend the cheese curds!
