The food is delicious but the service all around is lacking which left our experience less than tasty. Especially during Corona 2020 when restaurants just opened. We felt less than welcome and they all acted like we were such a bother! The last straw is when they denied my 8 year old whipped cream for dessert because they didn’t want to make anymore yet they were serving whipped cream with their prepared dessert dishes. How hard can it be to make whipped cream? Plus, who would deny a child such a simple pleasure? This was only one of many little faux pas throughout the night. Fine Dining? I don’t think so.....

Service, attitude and environment were very nice. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was very poor. I had the special-Sword fish, my wife had the Citrus grilled Mahi-Mahi, both were over cooked and dry. Neither of us finished our meal. The rice was even barely edible. Thought we would make it better with the White Chocolate Bread Pudding for dessert, not to be. Very disappointed and very expensive.

The chef at Roosevelts is incredible! Great simple menu with a wine selections that rivals any upscale restaurant. Food was so good I forget to take pictures! Chef Matt is a beast

Just left this place after eating breakfast. Had dinner here about a month ago. Dinner was good. Breakfast not so much. My breakfast potatoes were black. Not burned, but black from reheating. My wife ordered an eggs Benedict. One egg and English muffin $16.00. They served it with a side of reheated corn from last night's dinner run. Do not eat breakfast here. I used to work in resturants this was not a fresh cooked meal. Even the bacon was reheated. I would have complained but if you will serve food of this quality to paying customers complaints are not a concern.

I wish my brain could figure out what they are trying to do here. This place used to be great but now? No. Most appetizers are just smaller portions of some kind of entree from a limited menu at best. Our waitress was very nice. It is just that many much much cheaper restaurants in the area are doing the same thing but better. It is sad, I have eaten here for many many years, and I understand the rebuild process after destruction, but $60 dollar entrees is not a fair price for the experience or the food anymore at this location. Wish it was different. Crab cakes were almost frozen in the middle, sauces were on everything and very similar from dish to dish, beef was gristly and overly fat, sides were ok. I will, of course, try again in a year or so with hopes of a great experience from years ago.

The food was fabulous but the wait staff needed to be more attentive.

We've been going here for years, and were pleased to hear that they were finally reopened after Harvey. Victor does an excellent job with front of the house. We started with their famous bread appetizer, and Oysters Rockefeller. Both were excellent. We split the Flounder Parmesan, which came with Fetticine Alfredo and sauteed julienned vegetables. The crust on the fish was perfect, the Fetticine was creamy and the vegetables were not overcooked. However, everything was very underseasoned. I never reach for the salt and pepper at a fine restaurant like this, but I made an exception this time. There has probably been a complete turnover of staff, and Victor is doing a great job in front. The food was well prepared, but less inspired than in the past. I hope that they read this review and adjust accordingly. We've had many great meals there, which raised this review by a star.
