Ron's Caribbean Cafe

Very professional and they are very patient with taking your order. All nice young good looking females doing a very cooperative job. All had hair nets and were in uniform. I particularly like it before you purchase your food they show you your plate and they don't shy from giving you a sizable meal. Food was delicious as well and so were the cakes. I took an hour to get home and the way she packaged my food surprisingly it was still warm.I feel as though this is a well respected establishment. It was up to date and the bathroom was clean. I've known of this restaurant for many year and never been inside. I usually don't like switching too much from places I have already become loyal to but I will most certainly pledge my loyalty to Ron's Caribbean Cuisine. Thank you, it was a pleasurePS sorry no pics the food and I couldn't wait. Lol

So the food is absolutely amazing and it comes out reasonably quickly. They don’t cheat you on the amount which is great since your paying for it and the staff is very friendly. They do have post a sign that says to please direct any feedback to (insert number here) and that they want to know how they could improve and I plan on giving them a call. The only thing I though that could be better, as they expect you to have your order when you walk up to the register, is that the sides as well should be posted. At least when I went there the screens kept refreshing to the same menu which did not include the options for the sides. In anyway. I got a large oxtail with beans and rice, and corn and Mac and cheese. Still salivating.

My favorite place for caribbean food!! Oxtails, jerk chicken, basa...DELICIOUS & the portions are very generous. *Note: the best time to go is when they 1st open because parking is limited, and the restaurant fills up quickly!!!

So the pros are that the helping is a good amount for a fair price and the staff is friendly also the place looks clean. The cons are there is always a long line and the food is not great but edible.

Ron bringing the Caribbean taste to North Philadelphia. The food here is tasty hot and fresh. Lines are not too long except on Sundays in late in the evening. The staff here is very friendly mostly with smiles on their faces. Leading me to believe that they enjoy serving people. And they like their job. Other than that come get your grub on at Ron's

Great Jamaican food. Can be extremely busy at times. Service could be faster.

Food is delicious and authentic except the meat patties are not hand made by them. Service is good they give you a look at your order to ensure that is what you want!

Best oxtails in the Tri state, get the large for $14. Trust me, I travel for good food. Try the fried fish also, so good.The Oxtails are huge and you get alot..I go 4 times a month from Jersey. Hands down delicious and very clean. Foods so good it can be a 20 minute line just to order and that's on a Monday 😂

My husband loves this place, I always get the stewed chicken a little spicy but never bothers my stomach....that's great for me👍

I Travel From Abington, PA To Philly For Ron's. The Food Is Great! Place Is Kept Clean! Staff Is Good! Ron's Is Packed Many Times That I Go, but The Wait Is Well Worth It! Definitely You Are Getting Your Monies Worth When Eating @ Ron's!

The line's are always long but I promise it's so worth it. I went their yesterday for the second time and the food was great. They give you your money's worth, I suggest the jerk chicken with fried plantains and candy yams.

Everything on the menu is cooked to perfection! If there is a line, which there pretty much is all the time, it is so worth the wait! Great food. Super service! It’s a win-win! 👍🏻😁

Oxtail was exceptional. Yams and baked Mac and cheese tasted like homemade cooking by someone who knows what they are doing. I wish I would've known about this place sooner. I'm always in this area and I would have stopped here at least twice a month. This is coming from a picky eater that also watches what they eat. This is my new guilty pleasure.
