Superb locally-sourced food and first-rate service. The only thing I could improve upon would be if they had the manual Flair espresso maker for tableside espresso. I wanted just a little pick-me-up, not a full cup of coffee. But other than that, a perfect dinner

Rodina is one of the best new restaurants not only in Cedar Rapids but in the country. They are using fresh, local ingredients. Supporting farmers in Iowa when many restaurants around are only getting a few things at the farmers market each week and pretending they support local agriculture.Some of the most attentive service I have had without being overbearing. The staff is very knowledgeable and do a good job of working together to bring the best possible service they can.The atmosphere is incredibly cozy leaving you relaxed and comfortable while enjoying one of the best meals I have had in a long time.The shared food concept may be weird for some but they do a good job of accommodating and making suggestions if that's not your thing. But food is meant to be shared!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a gem. The dining area is beautiful and inviting. The staff is AMAZING and very helpful. The food is nothing short of incredible. We ordered the confit pheasant, the mussels, and the roasted duck. Everything was perfectly executed and delicious. Truly something special.

The owners here are wonderful people as is the staff. My husband and I have been a few times and we really appreciate their ever-changing locally sourced menu. This place is perfect for a date or casual drink with friends. This place will not disappoint your taste buds! 🤤👍❤️

Great place! Not a Czech restaurant but the food is delicious on top of being locally and sustainably sourced. I wish every restaurant placed such a high level of importance on getting ingredients in this manner. The staff is always friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend Rodina if you're hungry for lunch or dinner.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday with a large group. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. Just a great experience overall.

Food is fun. Service was great. Bartender with the mustache can make good drink. Bill for 6 with cocktail. Wine. Desert was 600 dollars. With tipsWe tasted everything. The mussel were great Only disappointing nobody came to the table to ask about our experience. Also I like bread with my food... anyway we will go back. Time to go on Saturday 8 pm.

Enjoyed a nice evening meal at Rodina tonight and it was perfect. I got a small plate and it was so flavorful it’s hard to describe, but so so good. Thank you to the chefs and staff. Great atmosphere and service.

We had brunch here on a Saturday driving to Iowa City. The brunch special of lamb gravy on toast was excellent. Very high quality food for the price.

We had our 10 anniversary here and it was amazing! Our server was very knowledgeable in how everything was prepared. The chefs are very passionate about their food and it shows! I can't recommend this place enough! Even the people we sat next too were fantastic!
