Me and my boyfriend came here to try their pizza with vegan cheese since my boyfriend is sensitive to dairy products. My boyfriend had a thin crust pizza with numu "cheese" and I had their loaded garlic knots. I tried 2 slices of his pizza as well. Once we left, and my boyfriend got home, he immediately threw up. Later that night, I threw up as well and realized we both got FOOD POISONING from this place. It lasted 2 days and was the worst food poisoning both of us have ever had. We then talked to the Dept. of Health about our symptoms. Never going here again obviously. It was a horrible experience and I am still experiencing effects from this weeks later.

Best pizza I had while in NYC! The crust is so light and crispy but fluffy on the inside, soooo good. Tried both the square and triangle pizza but the square (buffalo chicken) was simply amazing. They also have a cute wine bar next door which looked great for a date night but we didn’t get a chance to check it out. Definitively recommend Rizzo’s if you’re in the lower east side and are looking for a good pizza joint.

Not what I expected from a so-called "authentic" Italian Pizzaria

If you are in the LES this is a great spot to grab a slice of some pizza and a drink. The thin crust Sicilian pizza is pretty great and so.is the staff.

Pizza by the slice is ok, but if you buy a whole pie then you get the real experience. I've tried many of their whole pies and they're all VERY good.Personally, I'd recommend thin crust. The homemade ricotta is also a must have topping.

I can't stand jazz. My wife loves it. She was a happy camper at Rizzo's, even before the food came. I was more content after a glass of Montepulciano (a lttle rough on the palate, but satisfying). We split a caesar salad (more than either of us could finish). We followed with a rectangular pizza(they callit square. A misnomer). It has was a thin crust pizza with 4 corners which helped support all the toppings of the crust. We enjoyed the Carnosa. We enjoyed this little neighborhood restaurant on Clinto street.

To the previous review, this pizza place is sister location from Astoria which is very famous for their small square slices. Putting a one star review for a vegan anything from here is like going to Peter Luger and putting a bad review for their salad. The five stars is for their Astoria location I have not been to this location yet

Read reviews, so checked website. Had specials listed, so was excited to go by and grab the two pie special. (2 pies, $20.) When I got there, I was informed that the specials are only in Astoria. I asked if the pie on display was the large (16 inch) and was informed it was. To me, it looked small, but as we wanted to try, ordered the large, thinking $15 like on website. Nope, that is also Astoria. $22.81 for a smallish pie. So I get back home. 4 people, 2 small slices each. Pizza was ok, not great, and everyone is still hungry.
