Wonderful menu with lots of choices. Delicious food - fresh and well prepared. Excellent service - fast, professional and very pleasant. And, the musician performing was the icing on the cake. Delightful evening.

It was a beautiful setting with good service, although kitchen was slow. The meal seemed over priced for quality. I had read reviews so maybe I just didn’t order the amazing food?? I had the red snapper, it was good and my son had the flounder. He enjoyed his fish but wasn’t overly impressed. I tried the blue crab dip and it is not something I would order again. The fresh chips and bread were delicious though. Our dinner was $75. (Only one soda ordered)Dockside was better! Go there.

Peach Sangria was refreshing and the whole scored flounder was perfectly cooked as were the collard greens and grits. Misty was a very attentive and pleasant server. Will definitely be back!

Just stopped by for a $5 cocktail and an appetizer. Food and staff were awesome. Loved sitting by the river.

Excellent all round great meal. Our server Becca B was fantastic. I had the grouper florentine and by wife had the crabcakes, scallops, shrimp with cheese grits and an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. This was one of the nicest meals we have had in a long time.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly server. The filet was cut like a sirloin. The red snapper ( catch of the day) was OK. The next time we're in Savannah we'll try another restaurant.

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary and were thrilled with the service and food. Everything was excellently prepared and delicious. They offered a variety of drink deals that were good as well. We had an amazing server who was friendly & able to help us make good choices for food & had good recommendations on the menu. This is a place we will definitely visit again when we're back in Savannah.

The best crab cakes I have ever eaten! Our entire order was amazing. Great food worth the prices. A rare combination. Got the complimentary Fried Green Tomatoes too - fantastic. Worth the stop if you are in town for a conference.

Best food best service best location on the river. Take their elevator up to the top story which is cotton sail hotel's observation bar and restaurant. Fantastic view of the river.

Excellent restaurant on the waterfront White tablecloths but not fancy. Food was great and drink specials good also

Pleasant, fairly casual seafood restaurant in an old building right on the river walk. The entrees (grouper, scallops) were very good and actually all of the food was better than that at the more "chic" Belford near the marketplace. Prices are fair too. Appetizers (fried green tomatoes, calamari) were also great. Enjoyable dinner.

We ended up here out of chance as we were just wandering. The food is pretty good! Everyone was happy with their selection. We even had free fried green tomatoes. The server was great and sympathetic to my allergies as she herself had the same ones. The views of the river are nice and on the patio there is great people watching. I wouldn’t say the food is over priced but the wine definitely is especially considering that the server didn’t even know how to pour it properly.

The River House is one of the nicer places at this location near the riverfront. We were recently in Savannah during the Christmas Parade event. The menu is fairly balanced and the food well prepared. We initially had drinks and appetizers while viewing the parade then eventually decided to stay for dinner. We ordered the flounder and a burger which we both enjoyed. Looking at some of the other entrée by other diners also looks good as well. Overall a nice experience.

The service was very good and the decor is very nice. I had the Red Snapper. It was prepared properly. But, I did not like the recipe. Too much “stuff” over the fish and it took away the true taste.

Friendly service starting with the host and right through the waitress. Excellent food and reasonable prices.
