The original Rival Bros coffee house and the perfect neighborhood coffee shop. My favorite coffees and pastries. A popular work spot, sometimes hard to snag a table.

Fantastic coffee. Great options for a pour-over and I loved the espresso. I wish there was more seating but sometimes it's just not possible I guess. Cool decor. Haven't tried the food but it looks good. Prices are reasonable for the city and what you're getting.

Most of the baristas consistently make some of the best lattes in Philly. They have pastries from High Street on Market, which are the best.

Coffee companies have been on the rise in Philly over the past few years, and a person is inevitably faced with the dilemma whether to buy at the store or from a local coffee shop. First and foremost the answer to that question is go to a coffee shop. Next, the coffee shop you should go to is Rival Bros for a cup and take a bag of beans for home. I've have Reanimators, La Colombe, Elixir, etc, but none compare to Rival Bros in my opinion. The range of flavors available is not too staggering yet broad enough to give you something to look forward to. Yes I am comfortable with paying ~$15 for a bag of coffee because I realized that a single cup of high quality coffee will satisfy you much more so than anything else.

Cafe food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. I love eating here. I'll return with my relatives. The bill was reasonable. Reminds me of a cafe in Chicago I liked to visit.

Really amazing place. Coffee is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. Their daily bread options are unique and delicious. There are plenty of places to sit and work with outlets nearby.

A great coffee shop in south Philly. Would go again.

Great coffee, good pastries. I knocked a star off because the prices are a little high, there's not a ton of seating, and service can be a little slow. Still, it's an excellent coffee shop.

cafe food... super delicious. I will be bringing friends next time. Kinda of like a cafe in Phoenix that I enjoyed.

Out of this world coffee and baked goods served inefficiently by 3-4 disorganized "workers" with a condescending hipster attitude. What more can you ask for? PS. Love how someone making 1/10th or less what I make can assume to be so superior due to creative facial hair, knowledge of cookie ingredients or multi color hair highlights.

The Love Rival Bros and I think theyre the best in Philly and have been coming here for years. But recently at this location the service is extremely slow! I just want to see certain employees move with a little more urgency. I still love the coffee

Great shop, great staff, great coffee. The only thing is, I wish it was a bigger space. But especially if you're just stopping by to grab a cup and go, this is the best shop in the immediate area.

Very good coffee. By far the best nitro cold brew I've ever had. Kick back, relax, and have a glass in this hip chill spot. Free WiFi and good seating make it a perfect destination for a quick trip or a long stay.
