Our party had apps, cocktails and pizzas. They were all excellent! Service was attentive and prompt. No having to go to the counters to order any more. Yeah! We had a great time and great food and drinks!

Design your own salad-bar is pretty hip. See & be seen in this sharp downtown venue, but expect all the associated detractors, including price, noise, and crowds. Food wasn't exceptional (our pastrami sliders were very dry). If you're visiting downtown Salem might be worth a try, but unless you work downtown, I can't imagine this being a local favorite.

My first time here was during Taco Crawl week. I probably wouldn't have come in otherwise, but I'm glad I did. It's really nice inside. It wasn't that busy, but it was a Monday. I was a little confused when I walked in, but that's not hard for me. You have to place your order at the counter, so there's no table service. It seemed weird because by the looks inside you wouldn't get that vibe. They give you a number to place on the table so they know where to deliver your tasty treats. Very casual.We ordered the chicken tacos because they were advertised for the Taco Crawl. They were okay, nothing exceptional. Flavor was good, seasoning was good, and they were filling. 4 out of 5 for the tacos.The vibe inside was very relaxed and cozy. And there was a bar to the side. I would probably come here again to try something new.

What a cornucopia of whiskey...wow, pages of whiskey choices . They made me a spicy dirty martini. It was delish. Watch the parking lot. City of Salem gave me a ticket. I will probably go back. Appetizers were also tasty and were pleasantly prepared.

5 stars because the food has been amazing! We have went twice. First I ordered the southwest steak salad and it was so good, I couldn't stop thinking about it. Second time, I ordered a burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their fries are really good too but the portions need to be measured better, they are not consistent from order to order.The only major flaw I see is with ordering. The first time going, we did not know it was "order at counter" and waited forever for a server, until we were told by someone else. The server never returned after bringing our food, so refills are disappointing! Water option needs an upgrade also! Self serve, both times the tank was empty.

First time at Ritter's for a late lunch. After a Oregonzola Burger, cooked as ordered, medium rare and a Italian Sausage, Peppers & Goat Cheese pizza we were all smiles. 2 great lunches for less than I expected, $28. As visitors from the coast that enjoy our day trips to Salem we'll be back. Great service as well. I should also mention the bar looked well stocked and inviting. For the younger set a stool at the bar looked like fun.

Walk into a modern old fashion place with almost unavailable seating is what you'll find here. Prices are good and the food is outstanding. I love a good crowd at a restaurant and happy staff who are highly motivated to serve you.

Busy place for a Thursday night! The food was alright and portions were medium. The atmosphere was so loud couldn't talk, hard to find seating and the cost for 2 of 30 dollars for a sandwich and one order of fries was a bit much.

My family and I had a great meal at Ritter’s. We chose sandwiches and burgers, but the entire menu looked really good. I ordered a couple glasses of rose from the little gem of a bar, but after seeing the gorgeous cocktails being served, I will definitely order one of those next time. The pour on the rose was very generous, as were the portion sizes on the appetizers and mains. I almost gave a four rating because my burger order was wrong. However, the polite and quick correction and delicious food, plus excellent service earned a five. I will be back.

I was there around 2pm on a Saturday, with my girlfriend. Service was great, wasn't too crowded. The Mykonos salad was delicious and large enough to fill me up. Their cocktails are top tier and delicious. I had the Red Devil, and for those that like a drink with a nice kick that'll heat your lips, I strongly recommend.

The food was very good especially for the prices. Everything tasted fresh and like it was made with quality ingredients. I didn't have a drink but since they need a ladder to reach all the different alcohol I'm sure their selection is extensive. The happy hour deals were really good, I'll definitely be back.

OMG. Sing it from the roof tops!!!! This place is amazing. Their beet salad is to die for. Service is spot on. Great atmosphere.

THE BEST vegan burger I have ever had. I can't wait to go back. Not a fan of the shoestring fries.

Ritter's is super great. The design of the space is very cute. The tile floors and the open floor plan itself is very inviting and surprisingly cozy. The kitchen is open and very visible from the dining area, which is great because they have a pretty sweet brick oven. It would be a shame to hide that beauty from the customers.I went with Monet after an office work party. Monet wanted ice cream so I asked Scott for a recomendation (because he lives in Salem).She got some vanilla ice gelato and I had a beer. She also ordered tea. They have table service, but we snuck past the servers on accident and were confused on how to order, but a very professional server found us and helped us out. He was beyond nice, and made us feel very comfortable. His name is Troy, and that dude rocks!Also, before we got the ice cream I beat Monet at bowling. I had a pretty low score, only 136 but it was enough for the win.

Favorite Friday spot!! Finally warm enough to eat outside! The best lemon drops! Very lively and “hip” place. Fun atmosphere.
