Delicious! Will be back. Dan Dan noodles, shrimp dumplings, chicken dumplings in Sichuan sauce and beef scallion pancake wrap were all very yummy.

Good food, limited menu, a little expensive for counter service. Some nice vegetarian options. Would try again if I was in the neighborhood.

Shrimp noodles were good, but because of the reviews here I was expecting more from the pork belly noodle soup and the pork and chive dumplings.

Little nice homey place. Food was solid but nothing really blew me away. Food definitely won me over with strong basic foundation, and every food was served piping hot. Definitely worth the try if you are craving for beef noodle soup.

With its traditional Chinese food, Bess’s is one of the sweetest neighborhood finds! I had the Crispy Chicken bun. Amazing! The chicken was juicy and crispy. The buns were perfect as well.People I was with loved the Crispy Scallion beef pancake wrap. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant, but there is limited seating. This place is hopping, so seating could be an issue.The only downside. I went with 5 people for lunch, and the meal cost over $50. It’s a reasonable price to pay on Boston for lunch, but I would have expected slightly less. Otherwise, this is he perfect lunch spot. I highly recommend it.

I heard good things from a friend so I decided to come here and try. We ordered the beef and pork belly noodle soup. I was not impressed at all. The soup pork belly noodle soup was so disgusting. It tasted like they dump a liter of salt into the soup bowl.

3 piece vanilla, strawberry or green-tea Mocci ice cream thick cubes $5.00 Delicious. Chicken noodle soup $12.00 good size bowl. Added whole boneless fry? Chicken breasts. Lots of spinach & lots of noodles. It fills you up. Good thing for me was that soup was not spicy. The thing that Asian restaurants could do best would be to give extra napkins to customers, (or thicker ones) owners seem to be cheap on the distribution of napkins to their customers. You need a good size napkin to wipe your mouth often, specifically when eating soup.

I simply enjoy their food. I always get fantastic customer service here. The place is well organised and the workers are always very welcoming. Keep up the good work.

Really really good

I had an extraordinary in this place. We liked the excellent environment and the menu. The waiters are super welcoming. I am happy we ultimately decided to visit this restaurant.

Fantastic Chinese buns, sandwiches, and noodles, some of which are actually hard to find in the Boston area! Great staff and quick service too. An unassuming gem in Brookline!

The food is tasty but nothing too exceptional, the portion is really SMALL , if you are hungry, do not come, for the price you pay, you can get as good and more elsewhere.12$ for 2 bites of noodles, i am still hungry...When the waitress brought our food i thought i was a prank but it was not
