Local favorite since Carvel closed years ago and there's no other local ice cream places except Gabriel's fountain up in Martinsville

Good, but pricey.

Didn't expect them to be open on a snowy February night, but we happen upon it after a good dinner, discussing what to do for dessert. Pleasantly surprised and we got some to-go in order to beat the snow home. Staff friendly and helpful.

It's Rita's... If you're not familiar with this establishments, they serve custard, Italian ice, and other frozen treats. Great place to visit in the summers!

Really good Italian ice, though less good than zits which isn't far from it.
