Excellent dinner. Pasta and Chicken parmigiana was perfect. Had to ask for wine refill and had to refill my own water all night. After they brought out meal, no one followed up and checked on me. Finally when my wine and water were empty for 10 min plus, I flagged down the waitress and left. I would have liked dessert and another wine, but was disappointed with service so I left.

Nice restaurant and ambiance with friendly service. Overall the food was good but the Spaghetti Carbonara was a disaster. I offered to show the cook how to make it but they refused lol

Food was great! Service was rude and unfriendly, especially the bald guy. Only saving grace for the staff was the shorter skinner waiter with black hair who was very nice and welcoming.

Best Italian food in Montreal, love going here. It's a bit on the pricier side but well worth it, especially since the portions are a very good size.

We had a work event here in the Lower level. Had the veg risotto- was superb and authentic. Service was on point. Thanks for a great night.

Anyplace that start me off with fresh, hand-made pasta decently al dente automatically wins my heart! La medusa is a gorgeous italian restant with a more than impressive italian wine list.Like I said the mushroom pasta was a strong start. The veal as a main plate was not as good. Just a huge piece of thin veal and some vehetable hidden under, with no sauce and missed taste. I've heard wonders of their wood-oven pizza. Maybe that would've been better. They then served us some gelato and honestly it was the best I had in a long time. Exactly like in italy. They've imported the machine and flavors and it's worth taking even if it's freezing outside.

Love the people at La Medusa, especially the owners!!! Whenever we are in Montreal we visit this restaurant and never have a bad meal. The owners come from the same region as my family do in Molise Italy and the food reflects that, and so does the attitude....I don't mean this in a bad way....it's a Molise thing and some may not get it! Awesome place!!!
