Good service and good food. A few of the items I tried where worthy of high honors, but sadly A couple items where only normal quality. Still overall it was a good place for a special occasion

Wow! The best pasta (gnocci) I've tasted since being in Italy! Chicken is amazing! Steak is amazing! Lamb is amazing! Pork belly app is ridiculous! Cant go wrong on the wine list, and the service and atmosphere couldn't be better! Thanks to our server, Robin, for making it such a great night! Can't wait to come back!

The food is exceptional, I believe this might be the best food I have ever tasted. The service was great as well, I am vegetarian and they made the tortellini vegetarian for me. Still so flavorful. I had a pear thyme soda, it was so delicious as well. They offer delicious bread to start with. Just a perfect experience for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend. I never can go to such fancy places, but this was well worth the price.

Having visited Denver dozens of times, I’ve frequented almost all of the surrounding restaurants on this picturesque downtown street. I finally tried this place and I was amazed at the quality of service provided. Complimentary still or sparking water (finally a place that offers free sparkling water), incredible and endless bread service, and friendly/ attentive wait staff. The food was also incredible and there is virtually and endless choice of wine parings to accompany the meal. Dessert and candied mint added to the experience. I highly recommend checking this place out next time you are in Denver!

Great food! Amazing service.. the pasta were great and the vegetarian 4 platter was amazing! Really enjoyed dining at Rioja. Definitely on the expensive side but worth it. Also a good place for romantic dinner

Rioja is always excellent! Service is the best you will get anywhere and food is always on point. One of the most consistent spots in Denver. Worth a visit or multiple!

Went for opening day of FlavorDojo and really enjoyed their bowls! We had both the spicy greens bowl and the seaweed bowl. Proteins were the brined pork belly and the seared tuna. These are upscale bowls! Super fresh and full of flavor! Well done Rioja.

Had a team dinner here during a work conference and we were so happy we selected this place. Great food and great customer service. The restaurant has an upscale and laid back feel. All the staff was friendly and attentive which made this a relaxing place to be after a long day.

One of the best restaurants in Denver. Fine-dining establishment with a very warm and welcoming vibe. Hands-down some of the finest food I've ever had. Exceptional service and attention to detail. Kudos to Jennifer Jaskinski and the entire staff. Head on down to Larimer Square and be sure to order the fresh bacon pork belly starter!

Very delicate Spanish / Moroccan influenced cuisine. Good flavors and good variety of dishes, all well executed.

Rioja is without a doubt a top restaurant in Denver. The food is so fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was amazing and the atmosphere perfect for a evening out. We were able to get a perfect spot with an online registration through open table. The best appetizer was the bacon which is slow cooked for 26 hrs. It just melts in your mouth. This is a must visit.

First thing to get out of the way Rioja is Expensive, however you do get what you pay for. The picnic has some amazing smoked meats and the fish on the appetizer menu whose name I've forgotten is incredible. I had the duck and I've never had it done better. The service was attentive and caring when we said it was our anniversary we got a congratulations card signed by the staff. It's up on our fridge now. Must go if you want something fancy.

Excellent bread service, amazing dishes -- I highly recommend the James Beard winning artichoke tortellini which I got and couldn't believe was so good -- and an extensive bev menu including smart, fun non-alcoholic options like a thyme soda.Highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic, indulgent night out!

A delicious experience. We had dinner for 4, and everyone was happy. Deserts perfectly balanced dinner, service was very attentive.

My friend and I had a spectacular meal here when we visited! The service was great and the food was delicious - ESPECIALLY the chocolate and peanut butter torte. Will definitely return here next time I’m in Denver.
