Rincon Criollo

I come to this Cuban restaurant every month. I discovered it on a website & app originally known for researching restaurants. I was seeking a Cuban restaurant in Jackson Heights as an alternative to the ones in Manhattan. The staff-all-male-is attentive & polite. The restaurant has a family feel. The cuisine is traditionally Cuban. What I also like about this restaurant is that the cuisine is exclusively Cuban & it’s not the least commercial. Rincon Criollo only accepts cash & American Express.

I dined here 2 weeks ago I had this awesome corn soup with chicken. Then I had the boneless pork chop delish! But the icing on the cake , cherry on the top were the black beans worth every last dime ! Point, Bottom Blank

A great neighborhood place! This is our second time at Rincon criollo. We went there after coming back from JFK and we wanted to get some delicious Cuban food in Queens. As always, the service was prompt, courteous, friendly, and attentive. We ordered and appetizer of croquetas which were excellent and we then ordered our entrees of chicken breast, steak, fish, and ropa veja. Each dish came with black beans and white rice plus there were also two orders of plátanos. We finished it off with flan and Cafe Con leche. Everything was delicious as always. Highly recommended.

They don't need my Google review. This is a phenomenal restaurant. Genuinely thoughtful service and delicious food paired perfectly. You won't be disappointed.

Authentic, delicious and a great dining experience. The staff are great here, very old school, love the decor with pictures of what Cuba once was.

Over 40 years of great food and service. When you walk in you are greeted with a smile and you feel at home. The caldo gallego is delicioso. Try it out and enjoy.

Best Cuban place in NYC. Yes, it’s worth the train ride if you’re not in Queens. Stop debating it and go.

This restaurant has been family owned for 41 yrs opened in 1976. One of the last of cuban restaurant at one time there were so many in this Queens Neighborhood. Stop by food is excellent n the staff is amazing. You will be greeted at ur tabke by the granddaughter of the original n founder of this wonderful cuban restaurant. Highly recomended.

This is the closest to our Abuela “Ita’s” cooking that we have ever eaten! I don’t think you can pay a restaurant higher praise than that! We miss her and love having a place that reminds us of her home!!

Always wanted to go here. Got the Cuban Sandwich. I would say it was average compared to other places I have had it from in Tampa. Not sure I would go back.

Love this place, been coming here for years and it always feel like the 1st time... the birthday dance, that guys is amazing. Super recommend if you want true authentic Cuban food. Just as an advice if your going to order Arroz con pollo (chicken and rive) you have to order it as soon as you get there it takes an hour to cook YES that's right they make it on the spot so just imagine how delicious it is!

Been coming here since I was a baby. My parents always took me and my brother here. And I still go till this day , it’s my absolute favorite restaurant in NY. Everyone I bring here falls in Love with the food . Never disappoints. Employees are all very humble. Food is authentic Cuban food and fresh.

The food was unsurpassed years ago; however, not every dish honored the food that made them so famous. Besides, they should be much more concerned about serving the table protocol to honor the Country they chose to represent. J. B.

Absolutely outstanding place! My family has been long time customers for my entire life (30+ years). Not much has changed over the years and it's still a big part of our lives. Sadly, we live farther away now and can only occasionally go but I'd be there everyday if I lived closer. Very much recommended and I wish this establishment many mkre years of success.
