Richard's Donuts & Pastries

This is a small, hole-in-the-wall sort of place that has the BEST donuts in Southern Oregon . . . light, flavorful, no greasy after feeling in your mouth. The family is Korean (I think) and the lady who is usually (Penny) has a limited vocabulary. I stopped in one day to pick up a dozen for my work crew. She was so cute! "Oh, I know you! I fix speshal box. It speshal for you. You like!" So, she fixed my "special" box by adding to my order a bunch of donut holes and some extra donuts. There is quiet, inside seating and they offer coffee and assorted beverages. They also stay open later than most donut shops. I think until 4 or 5 pm. Filled donuts are usually done to order and they have 3 filling choices which, I believe, are fruit, cream, or custard. I'm a sucker for maple bars, and they've never been out of stock no matter what time I come in.
