Ri Ra Sandwich Bar

Best fish and chips i have had in the US for ages. Large piece of cod and good crispy batter... chips are more fries but not bad. I also tried the sausage rolls, which were more like pigs in a blanket but with a banger... not a sausage roll but good. Wash down with a Guinness.

I LOVED this place. The manager Sasha and the bartenders Charles and Crystal made the visit great. It's allegedly haunted, so they shared their stories and gave us the grand tour. And on top of it all, the food and drinks were fantastic!

Came here for the 1st time for brunch. I'm fairly certain we were the first ones in. The food was amazing and service was great. Probably the best sausage I've ever had. Black and white pudding and toast were perfect. Will definitely return!

Welcoming and friendly as always!! Had the Publican Rueben sandwich...so delicious. Paired with Duck-Rabbit milk stout, it really hit the spot. Beautiful, old ambiance, love the upstairs whiskey bar. Fun fact: Rí Rá is one of the most haunted places in Charlotte, and there's alot of history about it that is fascinating.

Visited with my son in his graduation weekend. We had reservations for four and were seated in the upstairs area. We had to wait a few minutes for our table as the hostess wanted to make sure the table was clean. When we went upstairs I could see why. The upstairs was filthy. Tables weren't bussed and the floor was littered with food and napkins. This really made me think twice about eating here. My son wanted the lamb Burger so I decided to stay.When you walk in to this establishment you're grated by a large desk and a view of the bar. The bar area is clean and service is great downstairs. Upstairs, not so much.When you visit here, think twice about heading up those stairs.

Large drink selection and some classic Irish meals. I could of eaten a plate of just the brussel sprout and bacon - it's a must get. Chicken had a weird texture, but all in all, a really enjoyable meal. Loved the atmosphere of the bar and the staff was extremely friendly.

The staff was very nice. The setting was cool, and I would call it authentic. Food was normal pub fair, nothing special. Beer was fine. They lost a star for be because of the cocktails, both in quality and price.

This was a nice find which occurred by total serendipity as I walked from a hotel to our dinner. Ducking into this place was like stepping into Ireland for a few minutes. The decore is appropriate and especially love the black and white pictures of all the Irish folks. I had a snack before dinner that was delicious and enjoyed the friendly service is well. Definitely a place I will revisit.

Popped in for a quick drink and snack before a show. The bar tender was very helpful in getting us served quickly. The food was very good. Atmosphere very nice. Want to go back soon to properly enjoy the place.

This place is excellent! The haddock fish fry reminds me of the ones I enjoyed for 25 years in upstate New York and is worth every penny. The staff is friendly, prompt, and responsive, and the atmosphere is very earthy and subdued, reminding you of a candlelit Irish tavern. If you are in the neighborhood of this place on a Friday, you will NOT be disappointed with Rí Rá!

Attentive staff + great food + fun atmosphere = a good time! Great for afternoon lunch or evening hangout after work. Wonderful cocktail menu and draught selections and the food tastes like a wee bit of Ireland brought here for us to enjoy.

We found this pub right away and really enjoyed it. We came for a wedding but extended our stay for st patricks day celebrations but was cancelled. The beer choices are good and the food was really good.

Yummy! Beautiful Irish pub with great authentic cuisine and ginormous portions. Staff was super attentive...can't wait to go back! Pics are Fish & Chips & Curry Chicken which was very spicy.
