Great atmosphere, food and friendly staff. The live music is very good with a very talented musician. The only downside of this trendy place is the cramped feeling of a small venue. The restrooms are undesignated, and I am not accustomed to that.

The staff here is amazing. The moment you walk in you're greeted by the friendliest lady and the wait staff are spectacular. The food is always top notch as well.

We traveled to Peoria for a concert and met our son and his wife for lunch. The decor and ambiance was great and the food was even better! I had the BBQ shrimp and grits, AMAZING. Top notch quality food for sure. Most definitely will be back.

Eclectic menu. Menu offerings can vary by nationality and geography of cuisine. Often surprised but never disappointed. I've had meals from a salmon BLT sandwich to Moroccan lentil stew. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Variety of healthy and vegetarian options. Beer and wine available as are cocktails. Live music Friday and Saturday nights. No cover charge.

Great music! Very enjoyable to have playing but also not so loud you are leaving with ears ringing or unable to hold a conversation. Good food for meat and non-meat options and great beer selection!

Beautiful piece of Ahi Tuna perfectly cook for me, best meatloaf she’s ever had for my wife. She had the mashed potatoes which were delightful but I can’t say I’ve ever had bad mashed potatoes 🤔 I had the beans and rice and they were AMAZING. Not your typical afterthought of red beans thrown in some rice. These beans were shown some real LOVE. As good as the Ahi was I could make a meal of the beans and rice. The Chocolate Cake and Bread Pudding for dessert were FANTASTIC. I almost didn’t order the Bread Pudding because there is NOTHING appetizing sounding about soggy bread, Bread Pudding REALLY needs a better name, BUT as GREAT as the chocolate cake was the Ambrosias Delight(bread pudding) May have been the finest dessert I’ve ever experienced. Bottom line Rhythm Kitchen is a culinary TREASURE that we HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 😬

Been there a few times now. Even though they are very busy the service is still good and the food is awsome. We both said we should go there more often.

A very nice selection of regular and slightly off beat menu items. The wait staff was at out service immediately & frequently throughout our visit. My wife chose a Salmon salad & cleaned her plate while I chose the Salmon BLT (slightly off beat!) & cleaned my plate. Both offerings were delicious and generous in size. We did share a fruit & cheese tray before lunch & it, too, was just right. A fun place to grab a quick bite, take out or just to linger for an hour or two.

I was intrigued by the name and looked forward to some good creole type food. Their website said they closed at 9. Got there at 8:15. They said they stopped serving dinner at 8🤦ðŸ½â€â™€ï¸Went back for lunch and had the crawfish etouffee. The onions, celery and other vegetables were so huge they soaked up all the sauce. They far outweighed the crawfish. The sweet biscuit was to dense. Overall, it was just okay🤷ðŸ¾â€â™€ï¸

Staff was awesome and the shrimp creole was even better. Taking a “hard look†at the bread pudding also was some solid advice that I would like to pass on.

I have been coming here for the Gumbo for a long time. My girlfriend and I sometimes visit for a Saturday night date too. I just have to leave a review that rhythm kitchen has the best chef in Peoria. Watching the man work is an experience in itself and the food comes out perfect every time.

One of my favorite spots in Peoria, right up there with One World and Zion Coffee, Rhythm provides a unique and Southern inspired menu in a hipster flower-child dugout. There's a lot of cozy dark atmosphere and bedazzled lighting with basic tables and chairs strewn from the live performance area past the bar towards the kitchen. Our group of four went for lunch time to find a friendly but slow experience. I tried the Tandoori salad and black bean chili combo. Very tasty and super array of flavors, the others did burgers and sandwiches as you can see in my photos. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Upon leaving I had to ask about the bread pudding, realizing there was one left took up the offer. My friend and I were both spoiled rotten by it! I'll have to come back and check out that gumbo!
