Food was good. Everyone in my lunch party enjoyed their food, and we all ordered different things. Ambiance and location is fun. Work staff were great and the service was fast even when busy. Four stars because the food was good, but not necessarily a place where the food was something I was eagerly excited to tell my neighbors about.

I think that they expanded their menu recently. They have a lot of options for bowls. I'll have to get back in there and try one. Last time I went for soup.

This place is a classic. Everything is delicious. You kinda can't go wrong. Last time we were there we had the potato bacon soup and it was amazing.

Stopped by after the Virginia Film Festival. We shared Tomato Basil Bisque and Chicken & Andouille Sausage Soup.. Both Yummy!! Thanks.

They definitely know how to run a restaurant cause it's very fast even when it's packed and employees are kind and helpful. Buddha bowl is good, lots of fresh arugula, curried lamb soup is amazing and the apple butter and goat cheese sandwich is so goooood. Even brownies are great. Definitely a good bet if you're short on time but want to eat quality food.

Unique menu. Love their chili and peanut-tofu soup. $$$$

Usually a restaurant will have maybe one or two intriguing options. I'm seldom tempted to go back more than once. Revolutionary Soup on the other hand has so many interesting choices, I think I could probably go there for lunch every day of the week and never get bored. We had three soups: lamb curry, crab pepper jack bisque, and pesole chili. All were fantastic and made me wish I was in Charlottesville more often...

A laid back, uber casual place that has delicious soups, sandwiches, and salads. Staff will always let you sample a soup. Vegetarian options are clearly marked. And their potato-rosemary soup is one of the yummiest things in all of Charlottesville. Recite a poem by heart from their 'poet of the month' and you'll get a discount on your meal. How cool is that!

Great place to get some soup, not super fancy but not a dump, just a great little hangout spot. Sandwiches are good too, and the people are really friendly.

This place is great. The food was absolutely delicious. Got potato soup and a kickin chicken sandwich. The soup was super yummy with a real potato flavor. The bacon on top vwry crispy. The sandwich stole the show. Peppers especially yummy. Cashiers were friendly. Vwry affordable. You can tell they are definitely busy so wouldn't come if in a rush. Also tables a little dirty but that doesn't bother me.

Delicious sandwiches and soups. Can't go wrong with whatever you order. My fav is the Crab and Corn Chowder and/or the Adams Apple
