Great first impression! Very clean, modern dive appeal with plenty of sunlight and seating. The staff was very friendly and quick to seat us during a busy dinner period.We ordered the Pollo a la Brasa, falafel bites, and Nelson Mandela Chitas:Pollo a la Brasa was cooked perfect and the cilantro rice was perfect. But what really steal the show is the Verde sauce! You can put that on anything and make it delicious.Nelson Mandela Chitas has a rich Smokey flavor that can sometimes be over whelming, but otherwise well-balanced.My biggest regret was selecting the Falafel bites and not chicken wings. Sooo many people ordered Chicken Wings. The bites themselves are not bad.... Just not chicken wings.Overall, the sauce was the show! I'd go back just for the Verde sauce.

What an absolutely greataddition to the pleasant ridge area, diverse menu selections with lots of great vegetable, and more indulgent options. A full bar, with a very talented bar staff, great seating, and attentive service. It helps the food's delicious and affordable

Delicious food! It was super busy but stayed at a reasonable volume while we ate. We made a reservation which was perfect as we jumped the line and appeared to get the only open table. It is very easy to order too much food, we took home leftovers boxes.

Very spacious and clean. The staff are nice and the food is delicious, prices are reasonable. Nice place to go on a date. Visit and enjoy, I sure did. 👍

Delicious little eatery for specialty chicken dishes. They have a relatively wide selection of choices, so you should be able to satisfy anyone in a group. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting. The only thing I would say is play portions were a little small for the price, but overall I would give it a 4.5 out of 5.

This place is definitely someplace we'll be going to again! We left Everybody's Records and, without a reservations on a Friday night, thought we'd try Revolution. We expected a short wait right before the rush (5:30pm) but luckily got the last table available without a reservation. The host warned us that the server had practically been triple sat (which more hosts/ hostesses should do). We would have never noticed. Jasmine was amazing! She was on the ball, polite, and made our experience memorable. My bf loves Pimento cheese so it was hard for him to pass up but he wanted to try the chicken. He didn't regret it. We both had separate chicken dishes and both were tender and well seasoned. We'll make this our normal spot after the record store (using Open Table in the future).

I'm giving them 4 stars because of their Collard Greens... I had the wings before, but they were not for me.. They were meaty, smoke well, I just wish the sauces had more flavor.. I haven't tried anything else yet, but will eventually...

The tender, well-seasoned chicken in the Southern Comfort entree was divine, and the Potato Bowl is comfort food at its finest. Such a local treasure. I realize restaurants usually thank their guests, but allow me to thank YOU.

Really cool chicken place! I wasn't a fan of the falafel appetizer but now I can say I've tried it. However the Peruvian aji Verde that came with the Pillow A La Brass was enough to convince me to come back!I had the Nelson Mandela Chita which was also very tasty, though I wish it had more corn chips (Fritos) on it because I loved the crunch they provided!Overall the food was pretty damn good and the drinks were strong. This was a great date night spot that I hope we make our way back to soon!

Free parking is available in the back and closely surrounding the restaurant. Relaxed setting and quiet when I went in around 11:30am for lunch. Our waitress was friendly but didn't tell us about their specials or desserts. Desserts are not on their menu. You have to look online or be told be staff to know what they are. Disappointing because after learning of their desserts I definitely would have bought some.I ordered the deviled eggs as a starter and split their Southern Style half bird with collards and a side of macaroni and cheese with a friend. The devil eggs were tasty but nothing extraordinary. The star of course was the chicken. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and delicious. The greens and macaroni was wonderfully comforting as well. Half bird with the sides was plenty for my friend and I to split. We left satisfied and full! I will be back!

Revolution rotisserie is one of my favorite local Pleasant Ridge restaurants. Good food, drinks and service!

Always a super chill joint with delicious food and superb customer service. Would recommend anytime to anyone. Great for all people.

One of the best friend chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Excellent selection of sides that include things like collards and Brussels sprouts. Great lunch and dinner spot. Would definitely go back.

What an excellent time. If you are At All into chicken you cannot and should not miss this place. From our service to the end was a great experience. My wife had a French chicken dish (photo 1), my son had a Peruvian chicken dish (photo 2), daughter had the Pimento burger (photo 3) and I had the Lightning Chicken sandwich with a William Tell Mull drink, both amazing (photos 4 & 5). BBQ wings (photo 6) for an app and WOW also great. Hey of all the chicken joints in this city you should not miss this. Either Downtown or Pleasant Ridge enjoy it!!!
