Big portions at very reasonable prices. The fried plantain and pupusas are particularly good. It's also BYOB.Casual atmosphere, nice service.There are 'trendier' places in the neighbourhood where you pay twice as much to be served by young people, but Amigo seems like the real deal.

The decor could be updated but no other place has better pupusas in MTL

Fanastic intersection of quality, quantity, and price. At like a king for under $25. Not joking around with the popusa. Burrito was phenomenal with cheese and sauce inside. A grilled delight! Go, unless you're on a hurry. Be patient, and treat yourself for being patient in the form of awesome food.

The chimichangas and right over there the steak ranchero:) AMAZING! If you’re looking for an authentic meal this BYOB is the one place I can easily say is like having a meal at their family table. And the black bean sauce!?!? The best I’ve ever had! The chef gave us a container to take home! Hugged the chef before leaving too:) I’ll be here again!

Fabulous place! Delicious pups, large sizes and so inexpensive! The fried plantains are the best I have eaten, ripe and tender. The owner is warm and friendly. If you are looking for authentic, affordable and unpretentious cuisine, I highly recommend it.

Very good food. The owner was very helpful, but it looks like a place ready to close down. The interior design could use a lift up.
