Restaurant Chambord

Every-time I’ve been there has been one dish (never to be seen again) that really blows it out of the park -today it was the smoked eel with mustard. Divine

Really loved the food, especially with the autumn sun shining through the windows. Would recommend the anchovies in rosemary oil to start with. And definitely try the mallard with lentils.

This is a corker of a restaurant. Firstly, it's properly cute. The seats at the back of the restaurant give views of the kitchen; it's great to watch the chef's at work.Secondly, the staff are great. Our waitress gave us food and drink advice and was genuinely passionate. She was helpful and friendly.Finally, the food is bloody brilliant. Get the beef rib. Don't question it. Just do it.
