Restaurant Cari Mela

My husband and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. They have just recently renovated and the environment is friendly, cozy and the overall experience is wonderful. The flavours of this food are incredible! The best butter chicken in Montreal hands down, naan, rice, curry beef, samosas, everything is heaven in your mouth and extremely affordable. The manager is so nice, always smiling. I really can't understand the bad reviews? Must try for everyone.

If you order from the full menu, my experience has been decent. But I recently had a non veg thali lunch here and it was a disaster. Too-salty tandoori chicken, a sweet coconut chicken curry concoction, and a tasteless channa masala. Perhaps they 'dumb down' the food to appeal to novices. Service was very friendly.

Hopefully you will be able to have the original Naan bread next time. Sorry your oven wasn't working.
