Wonderful dinner, beautifully presented, awesome server, the owner chatted with us and brought us samples to taste. I will go back and try everything on the menu!

We took one of our friends to dinner. Food was really good. My hubby had the jerk chicken, I had the skirt steak, and our friend had the seafood dish. Service was very good. Quant place to have dinner. We also had dessert. My hubby and I split the creme brulee, which was okay. It needed to be a little thicker, when they glazed the sugar top, it heated the dessert too much. Our friend had the mango crepe, he said it was good.

Excellent atmosphere/ ambiance, tried escargot 🐌 for the first time ever and it was BRILLIANTLY DELICIOUS!!!! I see why it is a delicacy in certain places! Food was outstanding as well as the customer service. Lastly, the location is perfect and easy to get to. I highly recommend and will return again one day when I’m in a mood to try other things I’ve never tried before! Thank you kindly Roende Vous staff :)

Strong drinks good music

We were in the area and looking for a place for dinner. We sat at their bar and had a drink and appetizer. The cheese plate was excellent and nice wine selection. We chose to have dinner elsewhere as I was not thrilled with the menu selections. Might be worth a try for others though.

We had a wonderful experience upon visiting Rendez-Vous Restaurant.The owner, Jack met us at the door and was very friendly as we engaged in conversation while waiting for our table.The food was a wonderful mix of French and Caribbean cuisine. Such a treat for sure!Very original pairings and delectable in taste! A definite must try for all you foodies out there!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit last Monday. Cocktails were good, his wine recommendation was fabulous. Enjoyed the escargot and my steak frites were simple and perfect. No room for dessert, but will certainly return. One of our top dining experiences in Lynchburg!

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal I had last night! I typically don't venture out often but I decided to take a stop here with my littles. We decided to eat on the patio, which was adorable! I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and customer service we received. Lastly, I was informed that the new menu was created last month and overall I was very impressed by the selections. I had the coconut shrimp w/ rice and beans AND I also had the MUSHROOM RISOTTO - it was hands down amazing! I will definitely return with my entire family next time!

I was expecting a cute little hole-in-the-wall local restaurant with ok food when we found this restaurant through a Google search. It was a fabulous surprise! My husband and I have traveled all over the world and have had some memorable meals. I have to put Rendez-Vous Caribbean in our top 5 best. The restaurant is modern and sleek without being cold. Our server Cammy was knowledgeable and prompt (as well as adorable!), and the food was extraordinary. I had tender and flavorful coq au vin with green beans so fresh they still tasted of sunshine. My husband had a beautifully spiced jerk chicken and fresh house salad. Top it off with a Napoleon pastry and fresh fruit worthy of a French patisserie and voila! Life looks rosy once again! Who knew Lynchburg, VA would make me want to return just for a meal!

Great atmosphere...great service...damn good food....curried goat was spectacular...Painkiller cocktail was VERY NICE! Definitely a diamond in the rough.

Rendez-Vous with me! This restaurant is too amazing to be kept a secret. Chef David welcomes patrons with dietary restrictions to call ahead so he can wow them with the flavor they have been missing. Adhering to KETO, or vegan? No problem, this chef has his act together. I sampled the French Pate served with Dijon mustard and baguette and the Barbacoa tacos. I see another rendezvous in my near future. The seating capacity is 90 making it perfect for engagement or other celebrations.

Great food. Excellent service. A great addition in variety to food in Lynchburg with a Caribbean /French menu. The food was a bit salty, but everything was prepared well. The butternut squash soup with coconut milk was amazing! Very friendly staff.

Already love this place! French-Carribean Restaurant with delicious food, welcoming, cozy atmosphere, great service! A must for anyone looking for something different from the standard restaurant fare everywhere else.
