absolutely incredible. the ambiance is casual and comfortable, despite it being a Kentucky barbecue institution. the staff was very friendly and hands doen, the best barbecue I've ever tasted--and I've had some pretty excellent barbecue. Definitely if you are local or just passing through, make the stop. it's worth it.

Tried the brisket, beer cheese grits and the corn pudding. Everything was very delicious and the wait staff were friendly and welcoming. The sauce collection was very impressive and diverse. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The decor was kitschy and fun. Will definitely be back!

Fun atmosphere, great food and wonderful food. Had wings, brisket, and sausage. All of it was great. I seen first hand the staff goes above and beyond.

A relaxed atmosphere where you can sign your name on the wall. The brisket is my favorite, but the pulled pork and the chicken was also good. I had the baked beans and cornbread, my daughter had the green beans, all great. Love the choices in the sauces.

Some of the BEST ribs I've ever eaten in my life!! The corn pudding was wonderful and so was the huge portion of the peach bread pudding with bourbon ice cream! The staff there has a real talent. You MUST go!

When we got there, I was thinking I have made a mistake that there was no way this place was going to have good food. BUT let me tell you it was some of the best food I have ever had. The Brisket Nachos was off the chain. You will not be disappointed with anything you get!!

If you didn’t know this place was a restaurant you would pass it by. That’s how I knew it would be good before I walked in. Excellent BBQ and I’ve had plenty of it in Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, and in my local area of the Carolinas. You will not be disappointed. Double burnt ends were the best part!

Fantastic! The best bbq around. You wont be disappointed. Desserts are awesome as well. Their beer cheese and pretzels are the best I've ever had!

Coming from the low country of SC we have a high bar for BBQ. This place hit it out of the park. Great ambience and a really great BBQ feel to it. The menu was very extensive and covered all the basics. We hit a Saturday so we had the opportunity to order smoked prime rib. Wow. Melt in your mouth delicious. Had to get a side of brisket and that was smoked to utter perfection. Truly take the time to indulge in some smoked goodness!

I used to work there. Great place to work for. Great opportunity to further your carrier, and they take great advice from workers and customers to make for a better restaurant. The food was amazing...I loved and enjoyed cooking and seeing to fulfillment of customers day in and day out. Food and service is amazing!!!

It was bangin! For an appetizer I got the nachos they were amazing! Got the pulled pork sandwich and the Mac n cheese was amazing also! First time here and will definitely be coming back! The only bad thing was they were out of ice cream for my root beer float but everything else was delicious. Highly recommend this place!!!

Which category does this fall into? Diner? Dive?How about just amazing! Original flavors in an original building. With service out if this world. Will make it a stopping point for food from now on I'm my travels. 10 Stars if I could

This place really loves up to the hype. I came with 3 co-workers and we tried it all. The double smoked brisket, fried pickles and the corn pudding were the best. If you like BBQ you cant go wrong stopping in here!
