Been going this pub for years and have very fond memories of the time I went rugby. I went yesterday and got a nice sharer start consisting of chips, nachos, crunchy salad, shrimp, prawns, chicken strips, garlic mushrooms, chicken wings and breaded jalapeños. It was really nice for the most part except the chips were cold but that's the price you pay for quick service. It was only 8.99 too so if you want a decent quick bite near Wigan go here.

Had a Sunday roast Carvery here yesterday excellent value for money as ever with Greene King public houses no pomp and ceremony. I will return later in the week for some more.

Love the new look of the place. I had the carvery. It was very tasty!! Never really enjoyed it until it went under this new management. Highly recommend.

Pub next to the JJB football ground. This is a Harvester, they have a seating area on the left and a standing area to the right along with a nice outdoor seated area. Considering I was in there pre match the service was actually pretty fast although beer was served in plastic cups.
