Tony is THE BEST. He is friendly, funny and always remembers you. His cheesesteaks are the best I've ever had. The bread is fresh and airy, they are just so good. Can't wait to try everything on the menu.

Great cheese steak. I live in downtown Baltimore and I drive out here 25min to get it. The owner is very nice and will talk to you while he's making it. He's friendly with everyone. It's mostly busy on weekends late at night. I always take out but there's a good seating area if you want to eat there. Definitely recommended.

Called to place an order but the person on the phone was extremely rude and aggressive. Don’t waste your time on this POS “restaurant”. They overcharge for every little thing.

Best cheese steak in the area. I've been going there for years. I still drive up from Virginia just for the cheese steak

The best cheese steak in town. Honestly, just as good as Geno's in Philly.

As I entered the shop, there was a line of ladies ordering. The guy taking the orders was very fun and bubbly with them. I got excited, I love places with friendly staff. When he went to take my order his face and tone dropped. Never even made eye contact. That was the first red flag. He then goes straight to making the food after taking payment (cash and cards) from 5 different people with no gloves on. Second red flag. I ordered a cheesesteak with provolone, mayo, lettuce and onions. Very bland and nasty. There are much better spots in the hood yall. When they said best cheesesteak in Baltimore they obviously meant Baltimore COUNTY smh Only gave 2 stars because he made my food first.

Love the cheesesteak subs! Bread is crisp and soft, not soggy. There's lots of beef on the Philly, not too much mayo and good fresh vegetables in it. All of that with a reasonable price.

All the charm and attitude of an authentic sub shop. This is the real deal after pats and genos.

Mouth watering, juicy, flavorful experience! A 9 inch sub and fries with no drink cost me 14 dollars. (13.78 to be exact) I waited about 5 maybe 10 minutes and the food was ready. Quickly drove home and opened it up. It looked amazing! I took my first bite, hoping the sub will be worth the 14 dollars. By the time I finished the sub, I had totally forgotten about how much I paid. The meat is well seasoned, the bread is soft but not too soft to get soggy from the meat. There was just enough cheese and the hot sauce was a nice touch. (I recommend getting the hot sauce on the side so you can try the sub without it, which is what I did). The fries were great too! Not too greasy, crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Would I go back? Yep. The owners are cool the food was great. I don't like to say anything is the "best". But it was definitely delicious.

One of the top cheesesteak spots in Towson! This place really has the atmosphwre of an authentic Philly steak shop right in the heart of Towson. The owner was very cool and funny. The food was great! The only thing i would do is lower the prices just a tad. Not becauss the food isnt good, but because it limits the amount of money i can have to keep going back at a good frequency. LOL. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good cheesesteak sub. No hots!

The card reader seems to go down intermittently so I would advise to always bring cash. The cheesesteak I had from there was amazing and for a Friday night I only waited about 10 minutes. Loved it highly recommended.

Oh boy, I can't believe I ate the whole thing. So we just moved into Towson, and I wanted to find where I could get a good steak, cheese, and mushroom sub. I asked my son, who lives a couple blocks east, and he said I should go to The Real Thing, which was voted Best Of Baltimore in the recent past for its The Real One. I walked into the restaurant and into my past. There was a couple ahead of me ordering, so I could study the menu, and draw in the aroma. There were two older gents behind the counter who sounded like Western European versions of Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers arguing and needling each other as they moved in and out. I ordered The Real One with everything, and he ran through the list of add-ins, which was impressive. Agreed. It was sublime. It was huge. I have been there again and got it to go, because it's easier to crash at home after eating the whole thing a second time. Go there. Bring someone to carry you home afterwards.
