It was great on a quiet Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Fast service, great food, an incredible ambience. The menu is decidedly different from Prime Meats, but the menu items are not as expensive (for them AND for the consumer) while still maintaining the quality that you come to expect from this establishment. All in all, a slightly more relaxed vibe than its predecessor, but still really good!

Excellent addition to the neighborhood. I wasn't a big fan of Prime Meat's food so to transition to a wine bar with small bites and the ability to order Frankie's food is awesome. Result is an extensive menu and great wine / cocktails. No complaints here - I will be back when looking for a dinner with the wife and catch up drinks with friends.

Excellent pasta & nice space. Terrible waiter (curly hair surfer guy) who went MIA and caused people in surrounding tables to get desperate for their cocktails.

Excellent food and service as a relatively affordable staff. The name change from prime meats to Frank's is a huge success. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday at noon. Brilliant choice of Cuban music. High-end tea and LGBT-friendly staff :) is this the the best brunch in carroll gardens?

Not as awesome as Prime Meats before it, bit the same owners and still quality. They kept the shakshuka for brunch, which is just as delicious as it was.

Another stellar spot by "The Franks". We were sad to see Prime Meats go, but the expansion of Frankie's and the addition of the wine bar are great and cozy, so we're ok with it. The wine list is amazing and really makes me want to drink more wine. The small plates are remeniscent of a European tapas place, and are wonderful. But we were really thrilled that you can get the full Frankie's menu in the wine bar as well. I hope to make this a new regular spot!

Exceptional ambiance, wonderfully fresh pastas and a wine list that, well, makes the place a wine bar. The slightly salted Boquerones and brown butter + spiced sausage Cavatelli were both off the charts, couple with an old school / new school vibe that's being masterfully created throughout Carrol Gardens.

Same delicious menu and extensive wine list as 457 in a new space just a stones throw away
