Wee Plaid on tap is nice and toasty while on Nitro is smooth and creamy! Their Imperial Stout was very roasty with a great backbone, the Cascadian Double IPA has a strong hoppy flavor and aroma. All of the beers we tasted were extremely flavorful, I'm excited to see RF succeed! Both Kevin and Jenny are very hospitable and friendly, they're wonderful people and I look forward to seeing their beers on tap in Troy and around the Capital District.

Good beer and a great lecture on prohibition. Worth a stop if you aren't hungry. Food selection is limited but they are happy to have you bring your own from surrounding restaurants.

There's always a wide selection of complex, left of center beers on tap here. The bottled to-go selection is limited. Parking can be an issue on busier nights as it's on-street. Bringing outside food is encouraged, which is a very nice touch. There are plenty of food options within the surrounding blocks and many restaurants will deliver.

Excellent beers great tap room and amazing people. What else do you need? Even if you are in NYC you can easily make a day trip up here and have some truly crafted beer to correct your perspective of the universe. Don't fight it.

Positives: It is a new brewery that opened up close to my home! They are passionate about beer and have their equipment out in plain site of the taps. Want a brewery tour? Just look behind the bar. I had the brown ale, was quite good. Cons: They didn't offer anything on the light side, such as a pilsner.. lager.. etc. The seating is about as comfortable as a volcano. The metal chairs and wooden benches make your body yearn for something soft and cushy. Please! Get some couches.. padded chairs.. anything! This sort of place it meant for people to relax with their friends and enjoy craft beer. I wondered if it was just me, but all my friends thought the same.
