Ramini Espresso Bar & Cafe

This good third wave espresso. I prefer a single shot northern Italian roast, but I have to admit that their double+ shot (I’m guessing 18+ grams) is among the most balanced I tasted among medium roasts. Pulled with great care and attention. $3 for espresso, in line with other gourmet espresso places. Also, they care about good coffee, not creating a coffeeshop/library environment: the decor is wonderful but there is no WiFi or restrooms.

This cafe is my staple for coffee throughout the day. The owner has not only made his cafe a work of art, but he's also passionate about getting the best tasting coffee. You see him doing everything from measuring the pH of the water to using a special Japanese iced coffee process. He will gladly go out of his way to make sure you like what you've purchased. He and is staff are friendly and intelligent. I've never seen a place like it.

Some of the best coffee and one of the best coffee staffs around. Get yourself a Kyoto and through a fiver in the tip jar; these brave coffee artists deserve it!

The banana breads and the chocolate chip cookies with sea salt. Try them, buy them. You won't regret it. Best chocolate chip cookie I've ever tasted and made by the owners wife.

Ramini is a fine coffee and pastry place. I'm not sure I understand the super high reviews. I had the Kyoto, which tasted a lot like regular coffee -- extremely expensive regular coffee. Maybe I'm missing something . . . .

Good place for a quick bite

We had special Sat. night omasake. Everything was deliciously made with care, and looked beautiful! Wonderful ceremonial match with interesting desert! Great service!

Favorite coffee coffee place in the area. Staff is always polite and friendly. They have the best pastries and sweets too. Unreal brownies and cookies. Definitely highly recommend.
