I was disappointed as a family fan.The emulsification when mixing chicken oil and tonkotsu is not done well,I have no family lineage at all.It may be delicious if you eat it without being called a family, but the score was low because I ate it completely with the tension of the family.I'm sorry.

Really excellent noodles, nice staff, and above average broth. You purchase your bowl at a vending machine before sitting down. The cheapest bowl is ¥650. However, the ramen was very heavy and oily. If you're not very hungry, you may feel gross afterwards.

This is another favorite ramen house of choice. Number two on list only because there can only be one on the top. However i would not turn it down at all. Another A+ for this spot.

Rich broth, deep flavor, not oily. Thick chashu (pork).

I always enjoy eating here and it is my favorite restaurant in Sasebo. This is where I ate my first real meal in Japan. I wish they still had quail eggs because they were delicious!

It is a rich family ramen.Because the cabbage ramen is quite darkIt balances its thickness. This is a place that foreigners visit quite often.

Great ramen spot!

This place is the typical Ramen layout, but one of the best Tonkotsu Ramen places in Japan. Being two hours away from Fukuoka, it is awesome having a Tonkotsu place near me. It is right off the Ginza in Sasebo.

It is a nice little Ramen Shop. It can fit now more than maybe 10 at a time, you pay at the machine before hand placing your order then hand it to the very nice mama-san. I believe it is all pork based, the spinach and seaweed was a very nice touch. I quite enjoyed it. For my husband and I to have the barbeque pork ramen and a bowl of rice was 2000 yen.
