Eddie the cashier is super nice but the prices are higher than sprout on some items. The lobster tails are clearly over price and they are frozen. Way cheaper at winco

The store is usually really clean, same goes for the restrooms for the times I've used them. The carts are kind of old and janky but this doesn't exactly seem to be a flagship store if you know what I mean.

The produce and meat are very good quality. Its a great place to get good food if you can over look "Shopping while black" twice I've been asked to open my purse cause someone saw me stealing, the other time I was making my nephew 6 years old a sandwich in the coffee shop after I had paid for my groceries. An assistant manager loudly came in the shop and rudely demanded to see my receipt otherwise he was calling the cops. I suggested that he make that phone call. He didn't which meant he knew we were not stealing, they just didn't want us in the coffee shop with the other patrons. A football game was on and it was pretty pack. It was so embarrassing I cried. I have shopped at that store 20 years. Before that I shopped at the old Raleys store in Rancho Cordova. I have a good job and spend so much money on groceries, I don't steal. It's hurtful to be treated the way we were treated.
