Super nice staff and is really quick for pick up. Would highly recommend the seafood and fried wontons. Love this place! ^_^

It's funny reading these negative reviews about the chef being a chinese guy because if you have really travelled to Malaysia, you'd know that Malaysia is a very diverse country especially in KL and Penang. 1/3 of the people ARE Chinese with others being Indian, and Malay. The food here is great. It's NOT Chinese food and the food is a good taste of Malaysian food (lived there before) but of course not the same, especially the Char Kway Teow. I would have to agree with others that the prices are on the pricier side. Noodles dish shouldn't be $15. If they are $10, I think they'd have more customers.

I actually enjoyed eating here, I’ve no idea what all the negative comments are about lol.There was a party and they chose this restaurant as the venue. It was my first time eating here, so I had no idea what to expect, except “Asian fusion”.Upon stepping into the restaurant, it had a warm and cozy atmosphere, liken to a cottage. I thought it was cute and different. The waitress was very polite and helpful.The food took a bit longer than I’m accustomed to, but our company really took a liking to the food. We ordered a lot. Shrimp fried rice, this spicy soup, this seafood curry soup, slices of curried pork (my personal favourite, it was sooo tender), coconut shrimp, honey garlic pork chop, honey lemon chicken, and more. I hope to try more items next time, like their bubble tea flavours.This place and their dishes were pretty interesting, I think I’d like to try it again. If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to eat something different, I’d recommend this place.

Everything is excellent, prices are low and it's a delicious place to get a variety of Asian dishes from Thai to Vietnamese!

Ordered the laksa and it was so delicious! Hainanese chicken rice was also pretty good. Plating could be better though with some colour....The chicken was moist and the waiter even gave us extra ginger sauce :) Can't eat this without the ginger! Definitely coming back again. Can't wait to try the other Malaysian and Singaporean dishes. I hope you guys will too. So lucky to have this in our neighbourhood!

Nice Asian Restaurant, provide delicious southeast Asian foods

I have been their customer for almost a year now (order at around once a month if I'm not going out of town) and I have no idea why many people commented on their food feel not tasty at all and the presentation was bad. Well, what I notice is that, the portion was alright, but it really shows not an authentic Malaysian Restaurant. I heard, the chef was Chinese? well, that's the issue. The price was decent (not cheap but not overpriced either). However, keep in mind I have not tried most of their menu, yet. So, some of the menu that people tried and complained, might beyond my knowledge. So far, I have been satisfied but definitely there is a room for improvement for Rakan House
