Good food!! Taste was good. Enough Variety for combo/Platter. Owner was also nice. I asked for Tea with ginger instead of Masala tea and he made the ginger tea, which was good. Also food was good in terms of quality as well as quantity.

I enjoyed my experience very much. They had vegan AND gluten free options so I was very happy. Thank you.

Delicious Indian food! Inexpensive price point. Decor could be more homey, but it's serviceable and clean.

The food was neither delicious nor hot. The mango lassi can contain more mangoes and less sugar. In lamb curry, I felt lamb could have been more tender. But, I do respect that it is a very old restaurant serving Indian food. But, in my opinion needs still lot of improvements.

Very elegant and convenient spot. They provide large meals and for economical prices. I loved the meals a lot and the staff members were very amiable and informative. Highly recommended.

This place is unbeatable for food that is fast! "Fast food" does not do this place justice because the quality of the food is unparalleled at places that have even longer waits. Within a minute of ordering you will be sitting down and eating. The atmosphere here is also super welcoming and friendly. They really make you feel at home. I have been coming here for years and every time that I taste the tandoori chicken with the peas and cheese I am flooded with great memories!

There are not many Indian restaurants on the south side of Chicago, but this one is in Hyde Park. I suspect that when it opened the owner thought that they would compete against "Popeye's Chicken", hence then name "Rajun Cajun", but found that they sold just as much, if not more, Indian dishes. I would guess that the majority of there business is take out. The restaurant is small with few tables. Eating there is fine, I'm sure, for the many U of C student in the neighborhood, but most post college people will want to just take out. The Indian menu is limited to about five item and about eight sides. Of course they have Tandoori Chicken and an optional vegetarian selection. The food is quite decent although it will not compete with the larger Indian restaurants you fine on Chicago's far north side.
