Rainforest Cafe

Amazing restaurant at Disney Spring. It has a bar, a restaurant and a shop store. Be prepared for a large line during Christmas and summer. The decoration is great. It simulates a rain forest in Africa and it also has amazing aquariums with a lot of fishes and other river life.

It’s difficult to describe the underwhelming dining experience. Maybe I just didn’t look around enough at the interesting animatronics or fish tanks. My focus was too much on the weird, rubbery chicken. The flavor was good but the texture just wasn’t right. Texture aside, the food temperature was just shy of Lukewarm. I can look past the not quite lukewarm temperature and weird rubbery texture too if not for the high price, very high price. I could have eaten at another restaurant like Outback for 1/2 the price and double the quality. Let’s just call this “Disney Price”.

When you pay $30.00 for a fish and shrimp dinner you expect it to be at least warm. Food was cold and the shrimp was smaller than average shrimp at red lobster. It’s a good atmosphere but half the items on the menu didn’t even have prices. It’s waaaay overpriced to say the least but they get away with it because it’s in Disney springs. The wait staff is very polite and they did give me a discount. Maybe later I’ll give more stars when I get over it.

I had a great dinner here. A guy named Gilbert made our night. Most positive guy ever. Made my daughter feel like the center of the universe. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet Gilbert.

The Rainforest Cafe is a great option of restaurant and bar if you want to go on a date and also to go with the whole family and the kids, because the menu has a variety of options for all ages and the environment is beautiful, comfortable and fun.The decoration is the scenario of a real rain forest with monkeys, gorillas and elephants that move, blink and make sounds as if they were alive right beside you.There are also huge aquarium with real fishes of all kinds and colors.If you are having a drink, you can choose selected ones that comes in lightening thematic cups that you can keep and take home and there is also a big store in the entrance where you can find gifts and souvenirs for everyone.

Oh My Goodness this is an Awesome place to go. Rainforest is definitely a Must go. Atmosphere is Amazing & Delightful. Service is Outstanding! The food is incredible. They have an unbelievable menu with a wide selection of delicious items. Don't forget dessert, especially the Chocolate Lava Cake, it's so wonderful. We Highly Recommend this dining experience!!

The atmosphere of this place is undeniably great! Is different and unique. But the food was no where near worth the price. It was horrible! My pasta came out bland and flavorless, with sparce ingredients. It litterally had 2 pieces of spinach and 3 small pieces of broccoli. The chicken was boiled (yuck) then maybe thrown on a grill for a second to add some color, but most of it just looked and tasted boiled rubbery. All of the food on the table tasted processed nothing fresh. Not worth the wait or the money

Amazing staffs, gorgeous food, the atmosphere here put a beautiful shine at the eye of every kids. The only cons is a long waiting time (usually 2 hours at weekends) and prices are a little bit salted.

I finally tried this place after bookmarking it for years. Had a wonderful experience here. We were a group of 6 and ordered about half the menu to share. Everything was delicious. The bread and butter are a must, as is their strawberry tiramisu. Highly recommend reservations, it's always packed.

Overall just average experience especially for the price for the meal. Let me start by saying the waitress was awesome. Food was served quick. The Korean stir fry was pretty tasty. Not a huge portion size but was good and very spicy. The restaurant seems outdated for the times but was still amusing for the kids. We were upset because they asked us elephants or gorillas when we arrived and we expressed elephants were our seating area of choice. We were even in the elephant line when the hostess escorted us to our table that was in a unfavorable corner in the middle of the gorillas. This normally would not be a big deal but there was open tables of equal size eight in front of the elephants which meant to us they just ignored our request all together and it wasn’t just a matter of typical server seating. We felt bad for the waitress because it wasn’t her fault so we didn’t press the issue further. This might seem mundane but it means a lot when you have children with you.

First! I would like to say we have been a DVC member since 1992!!! This has been one of worst experiences in our restaurant endeavors ever! The waitress was not attentive in any manor! She thought she was the customer!!!!The management staff was more interested in us leaving! We were willing to pay for our meal! We ordered an appetizer which the waitress said we never ordered, however the 5 of us knew different!!!!!! Our meals were delivered w/out any reason for the appetizer not being delivered.We will not return EVER! ENTIRE Staff was awful & wanted to escort us out w/security!!!!! What a JOKE!!! The place was EMPTY!! If there was any reason to leave it was that the service was ATROCIOUS!!! I will never recommend this establishment EVER!! It’s not like we’ve never been here before!!

Come here so often but sadly one bad experience warrants a 1 star from me. Waited an hour for food for it to be cold (but don’t worry we weren’t charged for the cold meal that we didn’t eat) as was so graciously rewarded to us by the manager. Waitress then tried to make awkward small talk that just made it worse. I can’t stress how important it is to make your guests feel valued - especially somewhere like this that deals with tourists from all over. Better luck next time, thanks for ruining our day :)

I used to love this place when I was younger but it seems to be going downhill. I ordered the coconut shrimp and steak meal. I asked for the steak to be cooked well (I am pregnant and don’t want to risk eating under cooked meat). My steak was medium rare when it arrived to the table. Our waiter was so busy that I decided to just eat the shrimp and mashed potatoes and take the steak with me for later and cook it longer. My husband ordered a sandwich and got food poisoning. He was miserable the rest of the night. We are definitely not going back.

The meal we had was prepared perfectly. We had only a 10 minute wait,and it was fairly busy. Our sever was sarah ,she was very nice,friendly. Definitely would go again.

Great bar and perfect place for group gatherings, happy hour or just grabbing a quick drink. Solid menu items typical pub fare - huge selections to choose from so everyone in your party can definitely find something they like. I opted to get the appetizer platter as it has a variety of their most popular starter items and perfect for sharing. Metered street parking. Easy to get to because it is near the 5 FREEWAY.
