I can see how the brown sugar pearl milk drink became their flagship drink and what they’ve become known for. BUT, as a fitness junkie who’s very conscious about how much sugar gets consumed every day, I found this drink alone was overly sweet and even thought that this could easily exceed my daily maximum sugar allowance (btw, max is different by sex and age). After you drink most of it, you’ll find that the remaining liquid at the bottom has a thick texture like whipped cream close to being completely hardened. Bubbles were consistently good. I think the milk tea option would be better if you too are concerned about your sugar intake.
