The duck was definitely a disappointed the tasty was very average. we pay just north of $100 just for the duck alone way to over priced for foods and I found most of the dishes tasted very bland and to finish it off we had the Duckling-Shaped Crispy Puff Stuffed with Dates Paste for dessert 6 for $20The place is decorated beautifully and the food presentation was outstanding, they really placed a lot of thought into how to plate the duck. it is definitely more of a novelty and over priced for what you get.

Fantastic food! Everything was beautiful and delicious. The staff was very welcoming and professional. This is an excellent place for a celebration.

Great place for dinner party if you had enough Cantonese seafood style, wanted something different.

I loved all the food that we ordered. Service was excellent. I was unsure first when inviting 9 people over given other reviews I’ve read, but the restaurant did not disappoint.

Well, I orded half duck for take out. It tastes really good. Much better than the other places I've tried. The meat is quite tender. In Beijing they use some speical ducks, not sure about here in Cannda. The price is above average, but I think it worth the price, and you got discount if you order from Fantuan. Just one comment, stop using black take out containers. Toronto cannot recycle them.

Food was very good, but it was not a flawless experience. I ordered a whole duck, with extra pancakes, Hoi Sin sauce, and vegetables.Did not receive any of the extras. Ran out of vegetables, and Hoi Sin, before we ran out of duck.Staff were attentive when present, but more formal than Friendly, and lacked prescience sometimes.Prices were commensurate with the surroundings and food quality.I would visit again, and hopefully the staff will treat my order more seriously next time.

The service and food was excellent. All of the food was beautifully presented and the staff was nice and courteous(see photos). The sauce for the peking duck was a excellent as it wasn't over powering but a good balance. Overall the food was season just right and you must be careful on how you eat each dish as if you don't eat it correctly then it will be bland. Although the duck is locally acquired they are huge ducks at 6lbs (peony style).As we were leaving my parents were looking at some of the photos, at the front, of famous people who have been to the restaurant. The front house manager (Jing, hopefully I got her name right) took the time to explain to me about the history of the restaurant and her journey of how she came to work there. She was very nice and I will definitely bring my friends to come try next time!

Halloween when the past had a meal, the decoration environment is very good, per capita consumption is very reasonable, the waiter warm and friendly, the food is delicious

Nice atmosphere and dishes are mostly good, but the least worthy dish is the duck because the portions are super small and most other places will serve the duck in courses but not this one. It's not really worth the while. Other dishes however are fine.

The waiter/manager? was out performing any waiter I've ever seen here in Canada, he really do make you feel the authentic Chinese experience, knows how to set the mood, everyone had a fantastic time there, and that's all besides the good food they serve.Place is perfect for a group of people, though it could get pricy depending on what you order, but will be all worth it in the end.

I definitely got my money's worth here. The portions were massive! The service was very friendly and surprisingly fast. The quality of the food was excellent. Definitely dining there again soon!

Food was good for our second visit to this restaurant. Sweet and sour pork was average, but mango chicken was suprisingly present. We order half a duck and that was good as usually, finally i personally really like the corn & fish rice dish
