I've always ordered to go from this restaurant, I've never dined in. The omelettes here are are amazing and the food is consistently good. The other day I ordered a chicken Cobb salad but didn't realize I should have specified what dressing I wanted-also, instead of the classic lettuce, the salad contained only spinach. I was expecting more of a classic Cobb. Chicken was great however and the ingredients tasted pretty fresh.

Excellent "old style" diner/restaurant. My eggs were perfectly cooked, the hash browns were soft and tender inside, and crispy and brown on the outside. The Belgian waffle was perfectly done and so hot the butter melted (which is very rare, as they cool off so quickly). The waitress was efficient and friendly. My new "go to" diner in Greenwich.

Great diner food in the middle of one of the best outdoor shopping areas in the state. Locals, both young and old refer to Greenwich Avenue, with its wide sideways, one-way police controlled traffic, simply refer to this as "The Ave." Great selection of diner food with friendly service. Great place to just go and enjoy a meal when you just don't feel like cooking. From your second visit onwards the staff recognize you and start to treat you like family. Very reasonable prices for the area.

Classic diner, with friendly professional people. I have come in on my own and with the whole family, for a quick snack or a full dinner. They've got everything you would want. You don't find many places like this anymore, especially on the Avenue.

We dropped into Putnam Restaurant based on recommendation from a local resident. The vintage storefront is gateway to an authentic diner that features a counter, booth and sunlit dining area in the rear. Breakfast is served all day long but you can get lunch and dinner fare as well as wine by the bottle. Our server was Debbie who really rocks! She knows how to hustle and kept us well served from start to finish. We tried the Angus burger and pancakes with home fries cooked the way they should be and hardly ever ate elsewhere. Everything was delicious!!
