This restaurant has so much potential but it is poorly-run. 5 years ago the food was so much more flavorful, fresh and delicious, but now that it's very popular and busy, they have compromised the quality of the the food in order to accommodate a constant flow of guests. Although the food did not take long to prepare, it left more to be desired. I was disappointed with the service because not once did any waiter or waitress come to check up on our table of 6 nor did they come to clear our table when it was time for dessert. The only major plus point is that the food is fairly-priced, but the portions are rather small. I am not sure that I would recommend this place anymore. It is quite a pity because 5 years ago it was one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Montreal.

Be aware that if you reserve as a large group for lunch you won't be allowed to get the thali. This was not a problem at any of the other Indian restaurants in parc ex. Food was fine though.

This was my first and last time here. I will never recommend anyone. They have tried to accommodate too many people in too little space. Well, I understand being a New Yorker. But the service sucks. After getting us seated, it took them 10 minutes to take the order and another 40 minutes to bring it. In the meantime, I reminded them 3 times, they paid no attention until my husband stated that if we don't get our order in the next 5 minutes then we will leave. We were only 2 adults with a child, not a huge group either. The food tasted average or more like a canned tomato puree cause the gravy is all that. I am a foodie and explore variety and try Indian food wherever I visit. This one was disappointing really, disappointing.
