Probably the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. We had every single thing on their Winterlicious menu and it was hard to pick a favourite. Service was also impeccable. One of the servers even ran out after us to return the purse that my friend left behind. Will definitely be coming back!

Pukka was a wonderful surprise. The service was excellent and we requested a tasting menu and wine pairing which was full of flavour and provided a wide range of dishes from the menu. Great experience and amazing food!

Superb service. The most delicious upscale Indian food. Prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are perfect.

This place is always good. They serve amazing food. Only reason I gave them a 4star is even though the food is good,this time around they were a bit underseasoned. There was no salt. We did not tell the servers but I am sure they would have tried to fix that had we mentioned it to them.Chicken 65 was different but good. I felt the gunpowder shrimp was a bit overpriced for the size, taste and quantity

A little out of the way but will worth it. Traditional Indian dishes with high quality ingredients. Not a lamb fan but loved it here. Rice was well made and aromatic. Service was great and not intrusive.Will most definitely be coming back and bringing more people to show them this gem

I don’t think the food taste good. Service is good but the place is a bit understaffed so it takes some time to get the attention of the waitress. I would not come back again. More details about the dishes we ordered:Pukka chaat: I find it way too saucy. Kale salad: tastes pretty basic. Not bad but not special either Lamb lollipops: the meat was nice and juicy. The sauce doesn’t have much taste to it. Boatman’s fish and prawns: shrimp tastes like flavourless frozen shrimp. The soup base doesn’t have much taste to it Pumpkin curry: probably the best dish of the night. Tastes a bit above average. Sticky toffee pudding: it’s not bad but it’s very very very sweet

Would give it 6 stars if I could, and I am hard to please! Food and service was amazing and this was truly one of the best meals I've had in a really long time! It tasted like I was back in India - fresh, authentic food bursting with flavours. Harsh is the owner and was super personable, lovely to chat with and all around a gem of a guy. Definitely go! Get the pukka chat, gunpowder shrimp, pumpkin curry, butter chicken and paneer. It was all fantastic!

Amazing food. Somehow just as good as leftovers the next day. Easily the best Indian food I’ve had in Toronto! They seem to have something for everyone. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet, I would highly recommend, it’s worth the drive if you’re not in the area!

Update: Less than 2 hours after I posted the review regarding the expired coupon, the owner replied. Not only the coupon was honored for the reservation, the post was taken down. I also was informed that the booking system will be changed soon. I greatly appreciate the speedy response, impressive! The dishes, as other reviewers always mentioned, were delicious, well worth a 5 star review. Here's my previous review:Please note, the Posts tab of Google reviews for Pukka has a $20 discount coupon for this summer. It was posted on June 29. Underneath it, is the link to make a reservation. Unfortunately, the coupon expired on July 5th, and today is July 29. I found it out after reserving. It would be great if expired coupons can be removed from the site, as most users using Android phones won't be able to enlarge the page to notice the expiry date. Also, the interface only allows to book a reservation but not cancel it.

My wife and I had a very pleasant night. The waiters were very friendly and the food was incredible. The atmosphere was great, too. The dimmed down lighting and the background music was just right. It's such a simple detail, but the coat hanger at the front entrance made the overall experience so much better. We are definitely coming back!

Pukka is not your traditional indian restaurant, but a creative reinvented indian restaurant. All the menus are extraordinary, such as chilli brownie: brownie with spicy chilli hint. Worth to try!

This site is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. Whenever I feel like having a proper meal, this is the place that comes instantly to my head. very good and all kinds of food and a rich menu.great team, and good ambience. Also, the bill is good. I tell about this place with pleasure.

We had mixed feelings about it. The curry in the butter chicken dish was wonderful while the chicken pieces were tasteless. The Lamb in the other dish was amazing while the curry didn't really suit our taste buds. It was still a good dinner but we expected a little bit more.

Quality 10, taste 10, atmosphere 8 and smell 7. The Arctic char was amazing just a note to the chef please more generous with the lentils:) truely enjoyed it the the pomegranate Palmer was amazing as well. The staff need be more consistent with whom they are serving 8/10 for that any ways.
