Mmm prime rib....

We have dinner at the Prospector almost every time we're in town, and will continue to in the future.The service is great, entrees are delicious and reasonably priced, the salad bar has decent variety, and the fresh buns are amazing!!You really can't go wrong here.

Expensive place but it worth the eat. Very healthy meals. Good all u can eat soups and salads bar. Home made dressing I assume.

Amazing food! Melt-in-your-mouth prime rib, the best fresh buns with globs of garlic butter, and Tammy, the most terrific waitress.

I've never had a bad meal at the Prospector. The service is always amazing ! One of my favorite places to go for dinner

Prompt service, large portions and appreciated soup and salad buffet. The chowder soup was outstanding, salad choices as expected. Salmon was excellent, the bacon wrapped beef tenderloin although correctly grilled was largely full of gristle not typically found in this cut. Typical premium spirits not available.

Awesome friendly service, staff made my first date and first time here a memorable experience! Hats off to the chefs for a very delicious come back and eat here again feeling! Keep up the great team work! Az&Paula👱‍♀️🤠.

The seafood chowder is very delicious! The famous buns are continually being baked, so you get them warm and fresh. No matter what else I order, these two staples are part of my meal.

Neat atmosphere. Our food was good but not amazing. The salad bar was good and was kept attended and clean. Service was okay; our waitress grabbed a dinner roll with her bare hand and put it in our to go box.

Love this steak house in downtown Thunder Bay. The fresh little white buns are absolutely amazing with the garlic butter! Rib eye was to die for, grilled to perfection! Mmmm I'm making myself hungry! Also, the server that we had has this very unique personality/humor that I just loved! She was very funny yet serious at the same time. Hard to explain, but even if the food wasn't good I'd still go back for her service!!!

Extra cut of prime rib, and salad bar with fresh buns. The Prospector never disappoints!

Good food. The salad bar was great. Lotsa options. Service was a little slow, but the place was busy and the staff were busy but attentive.
