The experience here was OK. Prices are high but the food is good. It's dated and as a middle aged guy felt out of place. I can see going here for steak and other seafood. Prom and anniversaries and such. But for just a meal on a normal day not my thing.

Lots of seafood & steak options with good portions. Food was very good & our server was a professional. We will return.

This was only the 2nd time in approximately 25 years that I have patronized the Progress Grill. I can't recall my first experience, but this experience was very nice. The atmosphere has a classic vibe - almost an old-school 60's Hollywood feel, with white linen tablecloths and napkins, but was clean and unpretentious. My out-of-town guest and I dined on crabcakes and filet mignon, which were both done perfectly to our liking. I was slightly disappointed in the side vegetables, as they were bland and my broccoli was only slightly warm. However, the server Tara, more than made up for the sub par broccoli. She was probably the most attentive and personable server I have had the pleasure to interact with. She was attentive without being intrusive, and personable without seeming disingenuous. I will certainly NOT wait another 25 years before I return! Overall, a GREAT dining experience!

I've been here multiple times and each time it is worse. 10 years ago would have been 5 stars. The crab cakes are amazing and other than that the food is ok.

Ample free parking. Staff very accommodating. Nice selection of food choices on their menu. Prices are high for all choices. On line menu does not have prices. This is usually a sign that it will be a bit more $$$$ than average. Place did fill up shortly after opening at 4pm. Cost for 2 couples with average meal choices and no alcoholic drinks will run around $175.00 plus the tip. For me this is a special occasion place. Steak at Texas Road House better price and more fun.

Excellent staff, fast service, amazing food. Only criticism is that when I called to adjust my reservation, I called 4 different times and got busy signals, a fax machine and a phone that rang for a minute without anyone answering before I hung up.

Based on memory alone, this is my favorite dining experience in Harrisburg! French Onion Soup, Crab Cakes, Steamed Clams and a glass of recommended red wine...I'd visit PA just for dinner at the Progress Grill! 5 Stars!!

An old community neighborhood restaurant with the highest quality food. Seafood such as swordfish, grouper, lobster, crab legs, and the best clams casino anywhere. Steaks are great too. Wait staff never leave due to the management team. I believe our waitress was much older than my wife. The occasion was my wives 60th birthday.

We would rate it 8 stars if we could. Linen table cloth linen napkins. Wonderful service. They were extremely busy and the service was still more than exceptional. Cuisine is well prepared, shrimp cocktail is huge, seafood arrived hot and was very pleasing to the palate. Dessert was very good. Thank goodness we dont live closer, we would gain weight dining on the large portions. Highly recommended.

Great place for crab cakes and steaks, and desserts. I’d recommend the Maryland crab cakes or a House specialty which serves a combination of one crab cake and steak. For dessert My friend had strawberry cheesecake and I had Tiaramisu. We both indulged in coffee with a splash of Baileys Irish Cream. Reservations are suggested. Expensive but a worthy experience.

Expensive. Not impressed with menu or experience.

No

Yes I was there for dinner recently and it was on the menu.

Confirming what peope have said, Ive eaten here several times and have seen a mix of attire...anything from jeans and tees to business attire. I did feel a bit underdressed wearing a tee shirt, even if there isn't an official dress code. Ps. Must have the prime rib and greek salad.

Full menu, always busy. Make reservations now

Best filet mignon in the country!!!
